San Francisco based producer Luigi Sambuy lands his first standalone release on the label 'Paper EP’. New to the scene, Sambuy has already gained appraisal from BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart as well as DJing at a host of venues across the globe.
A stand-out track from the labels flagship compilation Anjunadeep 11, ‘Paper’ opens the EP with an organic arrangement reminiscent of the likes of Mount Kimbie and Four Tet. ‘Sunrise on 2nd’ features bold piano chords accompanied by an array of percussive elements whilst ‘Colorlapse’ showcases Sambuy’s intricate production techniques with constantly-evolving atmospheres and fast, plucked arpeggios.
