Biography Tommy Swart a.k.a DJ/MC Tomster
Music always played a big role in his life. In the 80’s Tommy started in the Hip Hop scene and started to knock about town with his ghetto blaster. After that Punk came around. After the purchase of a set of drums Tom played in several band and also became a singer in a bluesband. Because of several appearances throughout the country he was asked to play in a rock band. With this band he recorded several cd’s and singles and the band toured through Europe, UK and Irland. They also played at Pink Pop.
The fact that he wanted achieve more in music continued to rankle. As a joke he started to play Master of Cermony on Drum ‘n Bass party’s in the 90’s. And with success.
He started to expand his MC talents at the Waakzaamheid, Hollands’ first Houseclub and the founder of Chemistry and soon became the resident MC here. Tomster was a pioneer in making the MC business more accessible for his followers. Tomster was on stage with the famous DJ”s as DJ & MC and that made his name even more known in the scene. He was booked throughout the country and even performed in the Escape Venue Amsterdam as DJ/MC, Club IT and several other clubs and partys. Including Poland where he is well known.
At this time Tomster is resident MC at the Lexion in Westzaan and a producer of records.
On a regular base he appears in several big well-known clubs in The Netherlands as
DJ and as MC.
