My first encounter of House music was in my young days. I was 15 years old and there was a DJ-Contest at my school. The music in my age was like Ruffneck, Technohead, Neophyte and many more. I had a lot of CD’s and used it in the DJ-Contest. It was not a regular contest because there was a difference in music, there was R&B, House, Dance etc. My style was Hardcore only, and that’s why I was placed second, to bad. But I received many compliments. After the contest I put everything to rest and did nothing with Hardcore anymore.

10 years later in 2008. My life was about to change, and I had nothing to do and I was busy again with producing music for the fun. I listned to old record again and suddenly I was into Hardcore once again. So one day I was at work and met Manuel Kuipers aka ManUmaX. He was very enthusiastic to teach me the skills again. I practiced al lot at the Youth Centre RADAR Hengelo and I met a lot DJ’s and organizations, one of them was the couple Cemon Victa. I’ve learned al lot thanks to them and many more.

The name Nefilem was given to me by DJ ManUmaX. The name is a story of itself. I wanted a dark name with a meaning behind it. And so the first thing that popped to Manuel’s mind was, the Nephilim (the original English name). The Nefilem is a biblical figure. The story short told is that the Nefilem came because the increasing wickedness of Mankind. They were the biblical half breeds from Angels and men. The Dark angels that breed with men were send down to earth with Lucifer, to destroy mankind.
After practicing a lot at the youth centre, RADAR events aka Solid Soundz and Based on Logic booked me for my first gig named Attack of the New Generation. Then the organization FlaxWax, owned by the MC Flax 2da Max, booked me. There I did my first performance in public as a DJ.

And then the bookings came along: FlaxFactor, Attack of the New Generation, Horizon, Boeskool Benefiet, Iridiums Revenge, Dangerouzmind, Nasty Flavoured Hardstyle, A new Dawn, Fantasy Island and Flax 2 da max & Friends and I performed two times live at a radio station for Feel the Beats @Sternet FM. And now I can add Nightmare Outdoor 2010!!!

And a new formation is formed, Disturbed Frequencies.

I'm joining the future hardcore skills with DR.Liech.

I've met him at JC RADAR about 2 years ago. Every day in and out, Chiel aka Dr.Liech is practicing the skills of the wheel of steel. And he is very talented! So we joined forces, and a dark team is born. With the most chaotic Industrial, Darkcore and Future Hardcore, we are glad that we may present, Disturbed Frequencies!

The first gig will be Flax 2 da Max and Friends @ Timeless, Enschede

The Story of Nefilem:

"When men began to multiply on earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of heaven saw how beautiful the daughters of man were, and so they took for their wives as many of them as they chose. At that time the Nephilim appeared on earth, after the sons of heaven had intercourse with the daughters of man, who bore them sons.

The Nefilem appear as part of the “increasing wickedness of mankind”.
