Born ('74)in England, but raised in Holland, Rahim was brought up with Jazz, Disco, funk & Soul influences which you still can hear in his music. The real motivation 2 start up mixing came when he @ later age went clubbing with his much older brothers (they called it Baby sitting). Clubs like Nighttown, La Rocca and Buccacio were visited regularly. Also the cool MTC (Music Takes Control party in the Holland America Line Building Rotterdam) and Gaultier parties where on the hot list.
Motivated by Dj's he took up mixing himselve. The old Disco records of his parents, brothers, relatives and friends in combination with his (current and past) hero's in the dance scene like Hardsoul, Dj Roger Sanchez, Dimitri, Ronald Molendijk, Michel de Hey, Miss Monica, Smos & Baby bee, Prinz and more, are the base for the music he brings you know. The combination of vocals with a catching beat give the audience a trip back to the magical 80’s (disco) with latin influences in a new clubby jacket.
