Residing in Doetinchem, Holland, DJ Danjah (Daan Mooren, 1980) has been holding the flag for music in general. He’s emerged as one of the DJ talents in Holland and continues to be a true inspiration for many different audiences. Danjah’s tour dates show both diversity in audience and a genre-bending passion for good music; House, Hip Hop, Electronic, Breaks, Electro and Urban. Next to his hometown residence at Club 22-24 in Doetinchem he’s held residencies at De Melkweg (Amsterdam), Paradiso (Amsterdam) and Bloomingdale (Bloemendaal). Armed with a sound that borrows equally from House, Hip Hop and Electro DJ Danjah sets himself apart from the rest of the pack by presenting eclectic sounds with a number of hard to beat contemporary ‘home-made’ remixes and mash-ups that will bring audiences onto the dance floor every time and everywhere! Aside from his natural ability on the decks, DJ Danjah has an open-minded attitude towards everything he does; be it turntablist / DJ, producer. From DJ sets to musical output, DJ Danjah is an “Audience DJ” who is much inspired by an audience at for example ‘Girl Love DJ’s’ and many other live experiences alike.
