De Schorpioen is een sterk en gecompliceerd persoon, trots en gevoelig. Zijn gevoelens zijn niet makkelijk onder woorden te brengen, laat staan uit te leggen. Als hij van iemand houdt, dan doet hij dat heel intens, met hart en ziel. Het is voor hem erg moeilijk om luchtig met dergelijke gevoelens om te gaan. Doet een ander dat wel, dan kan hij daar eigenlijk geen begrip voor opbrengen.

Zijn gevoelens zijn dan ook vrij snel gekwetst. Ondanks het feit dat hij dan direct in de aanval gaat - het teken Schorpioen is niet voor niets één van de felste strijders van de dierenriem - verliest hij niet snel zijn humeur. Gebeurt dit wel, dan kan degene die zijn boosheid over zich af heeft geroepen beter maken dat hij of zij wegkomt: vergeten en vergeven komt niet in zijn woordenboek voor.

Anderen hebben soms moeite hem te begrijpen en ondanks de aantrekkingskracht worden vriendschappen moeilijk gesloten. Is het eenmaal zover, dan gaan deze vriendschappen heel lang mee.

Families aren't biological.

when a friend cries out to you,

True Friends

Look upon the dark of night,
do you see a reflection of light?

Could it be the star that's so
bright, reminds you of a friend that
was there on those dark nights, who
gently dried your tears from sight?

Or the friend, that was there to share a smile
or hug? Never asking, only giving that
special kind of love. A love only a true friend
knows, a love that sets your heart aglow.

I ask you now is this your friend you
hold so dear? A friend that has the
twinkle of a star? Yet is never one to
stray to far. A friend that's in
your heart, always near?

If this is so, when you look upon
the dark of night and see a
twinkle of light, remember that true
friend, the star that shines so bright!
