CTRL/BAS is the solo project of Bas. A DJ, producer, and energy-bringer who fuses techno with catchy, sometimes dark melodies and nostalgic hardcore influences. His musical journey began as a kid with the alto saxophone, and evolved through years of festival experiences, from the harder styles to the melodic techno scene. Along the way, he developed a deep passion for fast-paced, high-energy hard trance and techno. From that journey, CTRL/BAS was born in 2025.
On stage, Bas radiates energy and enthusiasm. His sets are marked by visible joy and a strong connection with the crowd, he doesn’t just play music, he shares it. Through every beat, he brings a contagious vibe that invites the audience to join him in the moment. As an artist, he’s all about unleashing raw energy: pounding out kicks at 130 BPM and beyond, layered with trancey synths and experimental instincts.
