Amsterdam is nice city, nice shops, nice architecture, nice people, nice chickies but even nicer WITHOUT the tourist.
The problem is that the city is full of crowd between CS and Vondelpark, and if you go outside this zone, there is nothing then.

For me, Utrecht seems to be the nicest city in Holland, Leiden also, but too small.
But far, far after Paris

i used to go to Flevoland 3 times a year (easter 1 week, summer 3 weeks, autumn 1 week) and when i were younger my parents always took me to Noord-Holland (Julianadorp).

Now when I go on holidays there I always choose places I haven't been to before or sometimes back to Flevoland.

And i often go to Enschede (not on holidays though) because it's not far from where I live.

Normally in A'dam but in the future I think I'll be closer to the party I'll go it's smarter especially when you get out from the party

i've lived one and half year at noord en centraal NL..but that was all weird...

and been a month at zuid NL,january 2008...


i do like a lot dutch people because they are friendly,upgoing,funny,crazy etc. but in global I dislike living at Holland...it's coz of too many "strange" people so,for example I can't feel safe if Im going alone in the evening thru Rotterdam..there's too many idiot's around...and,all of the place's there looks the same...u don't have the feeling u are in another village...the house's are completely the same,lots of "kanaal's" and so on


holland is good for partying (for a while) but 2 me big party's became boring...it's always the same...now prefer nice familiar underground place without kidies and fancy monkey's

I stayed in Slotermeer, just outside Amsterdam when I was there last year, I probably wouldn't stay there again.

I might stay in Rotterdam or Utrecht next time.

If you liked Á'dam, you should like Utrecht too.Rotterdam is very different...

Groningen is the nicest city on earth! I lived for 7 months in Utrecht.. It sucks big time! The people, the city.. Not my style.. The people in the west of the Netherlands have a meaning about the North but the most of them haven't ever been there, and also think it is a dream to live in the west, or most heard; to live in Amsterdam.
They don't realise there is more to explore in the Netherlands..

Amsterdam: only because its the "tourist city"
