Project Domination: The twisting of your luck…?
This is a “public announcement” for all of those who enjoyed (or are really ashamed to have missed) one of our previous parties; the Project Domination Special Edition!
On Friday the 13th of July, Project Domination is back to drop some new arms! We decided to give “a big fuck you middlefinger” to some of the little criticism that has been around since last February. Sure some of your reactions will be like: “Criticism? What the fuck? The party was slamming like hell!”. Our thoughts exactly!
Our organization will keep on bringing innovative dance styles that will squeeze your brains like lemon juice. Think of Dubstep, Drum & Bass, UK Hardcore and Breakcore. Industrial Hardcore and Techno have left the building! At least, for now…
For a few months now, some Internet forums are burning with desire about what line up the coming edition will bring. Also some gossip has forced to enter your mind with one purpose only: domination! Finally we will announce what and who will be waiting for you on this particular Friday.
Mark N
Mark Newlands is the founder of the legendary Bloody Fist label from Newcastle, Australia. He is part of the infamous Nasenbluten and also known as Overcast. He brought us some of the most delicated 8-bit Hardcore and dark and distorted Drum & Bass until now.
As a DJ, Mark N is maybe even more legendary! He won the Technics DMC Championship for the Australian continent twice. His DJ sets are full of tricks and scratches and, of course, vicious beats and breaks!
Xanopticon -LIVE-
Ryan Friedrich a.k.a. Xanopticon is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the USA and is responsible for some of the most exciting releases within the Breakcore scene. Complex rhythms and chaotically structured sounds mark his music.
Xanopticon seems to be pretty hard to dance to when you listen to his last vinyl release on Hymen named Psicicite, but regarding a few of his last performances, the dancefloor will turn into a madhouse when he performs!
C64
Chris Minifie is label owner of Dross:tik Records and Make:Shift Records, two leading labels of the Canadian Drum and Bass and Breakcore underground. As DJ C64, Chris has toured alongside Venetian Snares and Dev/Null and thus has been able to spread his virus worldwide thoroughly.
C64 is renowned for his excellent choice of records and his good mixing skills. So be sure not to miss him while he is around!
Supply Module -LIVE-
As from nowhere, Robbers and Stanez appeared with there project Supply Module and their label Zero71 Recordings in 2006. They right away took dancefloors all around the world with “A Comprehensive Collection of Several Wars”, which was played by names such as Simon Underground, The DJ Producer, Hellfish and Mark N.
Besides producing they formed their own live act which they will perform on Project Domination! Buckle up for fast BPM’s, bashing kickdrums and splintered breaks!
Kingpin
The Kingpin is the cold-blooded leader of New York organized crime, but…not in this world! In the Netherlands, Kingpin is responsible for the well known “Not Your Monkey Not Your Robot” events, in the eastern part of the country. As he is pushing the right kind of music there, we thought it was about time that he is pushing some right music at Project Domination!
E-Mash & Quid-Pro-Quo
These two residents will define what a proper opening means. Together, E-Mash and Quid-Pro-Quo will spin some of the rawest drum & bass, dubstep and breakcore tunes as a nice introduction before all mayhem breaks loose!
The twisting of your luck?
You may wonder what kind of twist there could be regarding luck. It is said that Fridays and the number 13 are far from a good match. History points out that there are numerous occasions on which sad incidents happened. Is this all a coincidence or is there a relationship between the two that we all can never possibly imagine? It is up to you to decide what to believe!
For this edition of Project Domination there is a limited amount of tickets available, so we advice you to buy your ticket online on
www.p3purmerend.nl. Of course this is not an obligation, but… you could be twisting your luck.
Apart from this, we strongly advice those who did not enjoy the previous Special Edition party to stay home!
NO MAINSTREAM HARDCORE will be played during the night! Sure, it is possible to expect gabber music, but… you could be twisting your luck.
All that we can stress now is to just say your prayers and make sure that luck is on your side. See you on Friday the 13th!
