SAW is the new monthly night at the infamous TWSTD DJ Cafe in Amsterdam,hosted by Dave Ellesmere. Together with 2000 and One, under the nameMicrofunk Dave has recorded one of the biggest hits of the year so far with the roofraising Pecan. Dave been recording and releasing tracks for labels like Kanzleramt, 100%pure, Kazumi, structured,Holzplatten, Intacto and Remote Area.
This time we have one half of the respected DJ / production team known as Rejected Edwin Oosterwal has been spinning records since the early nineties. He mixes techno with minimal and house music which has brought him to places like berlin, barcelona and sydney. after living in new york city for five years he's now back in rotterdam, where he works together with Joris Voorn under the rejected moniker. their debut ep 'dec-trec" on sound architecture records has been ripping up dance floors all over the world, and has been featured on mix cd's
from Michel De Hey and Paul Hazendonk amongst others.
Rejected also released a track on Amsterdam's 100% Pure compilation.
Dave Ellesmere's last release " Standing In Line " found its way into the boxes of almost all the major players including, Josh Wink, Ricardo Villalobos, and Richie Hawtin, although released in February, you can still hear this tune regulary in Dj sets around the globe.
His latest release is a massive hit record together with 2000 and One under the name Microfunk. This tune is blowin up everywhere, totally erupting floors into a frenzied mass of screaming air punching mania.
All the major players inc Vath, Hawtin, Villalobos and Cox are totally buzzing on this. Microfunk is currently number #1 in Dominik Eulberg's chart and #2 In Magda's Chart.
Dave has been added to the line-up of this years Innercity on Dec16th where he will play in the green room together with Technasia.
Remo is an avid record collector. In the late 80's and early 90's he organized illegal parties with friends under the name Meng Syndicate. He also played at those famous (for the incrowd) parties.
