Never went to DefQon, but I'm definately going this year.

I´ve been to both several times.

I enjoyed Decibel better every time

Per una volta lasciamo che siano loro a non capire...l'anno scorso sono stata ad entrambi..il Defqon è imperdibile, anche per la location, ma c'è un sacco di gente che non c'entra un cazzo e che è lì per dire di esserci stato più che per "vivere" il party...

veramente è cosi' per la maggor parte dei casi!

Decibel is great!! Had so much fun, and it wasn't so packed that you felt like sardines in a tin. I'd def go to Decibel again...not been to Defqon, so can't comment on that.

DEFQON for sure.. decibel is a great party but if you have to choose..

I know, but the rest was the same. I don´t mind, but on those grounds Defqon isn´t any better than Decibel from my point of view

Both parties are good if you ask me

I liked Decibel because it wasn't too big and ya could see the entire location from almost any point. The sound was also good

Although some tents @ Decibel were too hot..most tents only had 1 side open, the other side closed.

The mainstage @ night was awesome though , a bit unlucky that it started to rain.

yes it was nice, but not really special.

But it costed only 27,50 euro, so for that kind of money it was well worth it.

It's nice...but the weather was very very good. Nice sunbny and hot, with a nice breeze over the lake.

Why not expect too much? The Line-ups looked really strong IMO, and its something I haven't done before, Plus I do prefer the smaller events/festies to the larger ones. Yes the weather plays a big part, fingers crossed for this year

IMHO i think that decibel tends to look more like an underground party and decibel is just a f*ckn awesome beach party with wonderfull dj's much like you'd expect in a place like ibiza.

Decibel on the otherhand was the first party i've ever been to so it left the biggest impression on me. thus it's an event i wish to return to every year.

then there is the fact of wanting to rave in the sun or during night

P.S. the time i went to decibel the transport to the party was utter shit.

never had a problem with defqon. not with the car nor with the train.

I must say that's a complete lie.

the set-up last year was completly different from the year before.
only the theme is the same. "Army"

but the layout and props were completly different.
i can't compare the Arena of last year with the almost Woodstock like stage from the year before.

In 2004 I went to Defqon, 2005 it was up to Decibel. Each party was great in their own way.

hm...well,dutch party crowd is spoiled..here is to much events..so the real "magic" of some party doesn't exist..no atmosphere at all

everything is changed and very different then before...When I lived @ Swiss and just saw pic's or video's from some events here i was so exciting to see something like that but,when u live for a while in NL the things are different

well you are right under this point of view, in Holland nowaday there are lots paties every week-end but look under forginer point of view... for example here in Italy we don't have such good parties we have wonderfull clubs but not enough open-air event...

it had more fun the years before, but the oldschool stage was nice. too bad they played hardcore and not early at the "early rave" stage...

Never been to Decibel but i,ve been to all the DefQon editions, they all were great

When you decide to go to DefQon, buy your ticket as soon as possible because last year the event was sold out after a week
