UK Hardhouse Party Timeless 1 oktober 2005

Firstly a big thank you to all the Clubbers, DJs, Venue management and staff who made the night possible. Special mention must go to the production crews who had the fun job of lifting the Funktion One Sound up to the Top Room and to Little Gem who stood in for the Organ Donors at 11pm, when one of them was too ill to come.

We were pleased that people noticed the superb sound in the 2 rooms courtesy of the Funktion One Soundsytem we brought in. We will be bringing back the system for NYDay, which is our next date at Koko in 3 months. We feel strongly that Hard House clubbers should not have to listen to our music on substandard systems and you will also see the F1 system at the Academy for HHA on Oct22nd and SEOne for MORE on Nov26th, our last 2 gigs of 2005.

Many thanks for your kind comments on the effort we put into the decor. We will be changing the whole look for NYDay as we are now making every Frantic SHOW look completely different. Big apologies about the height of the main inflatable. It was supposed to be considerably higher, but we had a problem with the trussing. On an amusing note we will be using an inflatable one and half times that size at the Academy in a few weeks!

The overall heat in the venue was a lot better and the addition of 3 industrial fans really helped. We are speaking to Koko to insist that they fix the 2nd air con unit in the top room, which will help with any heat issues in this arena.

The cloakrooms and bars worked smoothly all night and the waiting time to enter the venue was short and sweet.

We are sorry that some of you feel that a couple of the Main Room DJs failed to deliver the Timeless formula of classics. Capt Tinrib has already apologised to Amanda and me for straying from classics in his set. We should also have kept OD404 for a harder room at one of our bigger shows as while they were great fun their filthier take on Hard House is not so well known.

Please be assured that we do take the comments very seriously and we will ensure that the next Timeless in 2006 is 100% anthems and 100% classics. In fact, without giving too much away, we are going to be using a bigger venue with lots of different rooms so that we can have a greater range of Hard House and Trance classics. This should mean that whatever style of Hard dance music you prefer you will be well looked after. In particular we will be doing dedicated rooms for Harder House and for Hard Trance so that the warring factions both get to see their favourite DJs uninterrupted throughout the night!

We are also going to continue to support what we are calling 'the New Wave of Hard House': DJs such as Little Gem, Cally and Lucy Fur. DJs who have risen from back rooms at the capitals' events to taking on and completely rocking the Main Arenas. We share your view that their time is now and will be giving them Main Room Sets all the time!

We are also going to continue to pioneer new DJs both in the Main Arena and in the smaller rooms. We have heard great reports about all the DJs in the Top Room on Sat and many of them will be getting a chance to do the bigger arenas in the next few months. A big thank you to DJs like Matt PickUp, Andy Rise, Hypervixen, Steve Maynard and many more!
