Dutch people

I must say after being in Holland 11 times on dance events, the dutch people is the most kind and friendly people i ever met.

Not like in sweden att all.. Tumbs up for Holland!

I have to agree. When I visited holland last year, everyone was so friendly and helpful, even if they laughed when i attempted to speak Dutch . One bus driver even stopped his bus on his route to help me find the street I was looking for (the one where DarkSkywise lives). I was very impressed at everyone's kindness.

I think you never went to a Hardcore party ? If you want the crowd to be friendly at a hardcore party, you have to be bald, wear lonsdale and act like an WO II soldier (especially the right hand part o/) ..

But hey, if we all look the same, there can be no frustrations, and we can party all night long

well, everytime i went to a foreign country, especially the states, they all admired our country because of our drugs policy and when i told them about the big party's, they were just blown away....

wy is holland better.. there is no space around here... no nature... we have the most polluted air in europe... always traffic jams,
and above all we have Jan Peter Balkenende as prime minister

chronisch dysfuctioneel, have you been to other countries? The netherlands is legendary for its laissez-faire attitude "gezelligheid" (of which there isn't an exact translation in English). It's hard to find that attitude in other places.

sweden is a boring place where you have rules and regulation about everything possible. Imagine anything that's fun (especially around the topic "party") ...

now put a

"you can't..." before it and then ad some stupid random rule like

"...after 02:00"

or "..if you have already [same] for 1 hour" ...

or "...because it will disturbe the family with small children who cleverly enough descided to move into a paperthin-walled flat right in the friggin' center of nightclubs/bars"

etc etc...

strangely enough I like it here in sweden,, im used to it.. but I've been down to holland 8 times for 1½ year now only to visit the big parties.

Just came home from DefQon,, vette shit,, and now looking forward to white and black.
I've actually managed to gather 50 random ppl from my city to go in a bus to White... just to open their minds abit about how a big party looks like.


...and I would like to add to what my good swedish friend Tiigern just said... you dutch ppl are really nice

Too bad there are no big parties in Sweden with all those regulations and rules .

But at least you found a way around it .

Okay, I can agree with that. I just wanted to make the point that there are a lot of negative consequences with 'i say what i mean' because you can offend a lot of people if you just say everything that you think or mean. I think you can get your point across without offending people

Hc United was my first Nl Expirience and i must say they dutch people in Nl are realy friendly and there is the best pardycrowd.all the people make pardy,but if some NlPeople come to germany they are most time on rage.why?

as a dutch man i have to say: i disagree....dutch people may look nice but overall were like stiff, simple people...at partys it may like all positive but this is just at a party......i have to say: australian people are the most kind, helpfull enz. but thnx for the compliment anyway....

The power of Dutch people is that they know there languages. Almost everybody speaks English, most of them also know another language like German or French.

You can find dutch-people all over the world and they fit in the culture.

This is my opinion while living for over a month in Spain.

Everybody knows Holland, not only for our drugs-policy although it helps just like other policies.

I mean we've got like 16 miljone people living here and still the US comes ask us to help fighting in wars.
A dutchman goes into space for 2 times now.

I think it's a good reason to be proud of.

PS I know this isn't what the topic-opener meant, but still I wanted to say it.

I've lived in the south of Spain for 5 months. I've met a lot of new people from all around the world there, but it must be said that Dutch people really are the best
