I'm the founder of a dance webradio called PULSRadio. We play club music (dance, trance and house) 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Our radio is french (located in France) but we have listeners worldwide.
At this time we are the second most-listened french webradio, and one of the top-dance radio streams of the world. To give you an idea, there have been more than 900 000 tune-ins to our stream during the last month, and we get often more than 800 simultaneous listeners.
Of course our radio is legal and we pay author royalties fees ! Those fees are REALLY expensive.
I'm looking for people having a high speed internet conection, in order to install a shoutcast server and increase the numer of slots available for listeneing to the radio. The computer itself doesn't have to be powerful (celeron 256 MB RAM is enough for example) but we need lots of bandwidth.
Perhaps there is somebody here who would help me out ?
I know that many dutch students like club music, and have fast internet access in the Universitys.
