Het detentiecentrum, ook bekend als Camp Delta, ging in januari 2002 open, kort na de Amerikaanse aanval op Afghanistan. Er zijn nog ongeveer 520 van terrorisme verdachte personen opgesloten. Maandagavond zijn de twee Belgen uit het kamp naar hun vaderland teruggekeerd. Voorzover bekend zijn er geen Nederlanders opgesloten.

het blijkt dus heel normaal te zijn dat "nieuws" uit de VS na de verkiezingen maandenlang gewoon opdroogt... iedereen is zó sufgeschreven dat ze gewoon niks meer te melden willen hebben
