1605: Jason Chance & Kevin Andrews - Work The Track [1605-155]

Jason Chance & Kevin Andrews first met at the ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) Music Conference a few years ago and became good friends immediately. Their first work together was when Jason remixed the Hoxton Whores "Vicious Fever" single and that was then followed by Jason & Kevin's decision to hit the studio together to work on a collaboration. The guys enjoyed it so much that they now make sure it's a regular thing and this new single "Work The Track" will be their third release together on the 1605 label.

To make "Bush Of Ghost", Alessandro and Davide took inspiration from the instrumental track called "Dirty Talk" that Davide made in 1982 for the Italian ghost group Klein & MBO. Years later it was really amazing to read that Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitars, keyboards & synthesizers of New Order) has stated that "Blue Monday" arrangement came from "Dirty Talk" by Klein & M.B.O.

UMEK and Groovebox both had quite a summer! Right before doing a show in Scotland, Groovebox had a close encounter with the Loch Ness monster, and when UMEK did the biggest annual electronic music event in his home country, he made it so big that he even scared the American embassy. Despite the turmoil, they decided to Rock It all Out in this massive collaboration.
