hmm ok, a lot of subjects but more time. In Poland its minimum 3 subjects (Polish, chosen language + one chosen subject (maths, chemistry, biology etc...) but we pass the exams after 3 years of high school :S

So when does it starts?

In Poland 5.05 and it will finish 31.05 ;) One stressing month :S

I did VWO (pre-university high school type) which means u have to do 7 exams nationwide, and 6 other subjects will also need an examination grade which is built up by the average of test scores over your last 3 years.

I took exams in English, Dutch, history, geography, economics, management studies and math. I passed all except for math, but you are able to compensate 1 insufficient mark with another one which is above average so I passed and got my high school diploma.

The scores of your exam subjects are grades between 1 and 10, 5.5 and higher is sufficient.

The subjects that I didn't take exams in but I did finish, were German, French (which I don't speak at all) politics, art, physical education and basic sciences.

Approx 12 years of schooling. In senior school we had to complete a minimum of 10 units for our final year (one subject was usually 2 units) English being compulsory.

Had to complete the School certificate at the end of year 10 and the High School Certificate (HSC) at the end of year 12 to graduate and recieve our UAI which determines which Universitys or courses we are eligible for and generally after that you can move on to higher learning like Uni or College but that's also open to people who did not finish school.
