Grootste platenbeurs ter wereld viert 30-jarig jubileum
1 november 2023
Dit jaar viert de Mega Record & CD Fair zijn dertigste verjaardag. In drie decennia groeide de platenbeurs uit tot de grootste ter wereld, met een beursoppervlakte van 16.000 vierkante meter. Op de 57ste editie staat er een internationale line-up van artiesten op het programma en zijn er boekpresentaties en interviews. Het evenement staat gepland op zaterdag 11 en zondag 12 november in de Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch.
Op 11 en 12 november vindt de Mega Platen & CD Beurs plaats in de Brabanthallen van 's-Hertogenbosch. Het succes van werelds grootste platenbeurs laat zien dat vinyl nog lang niet is uitgestorven. De platenpersen draaien overuren. Niet alleen voor nieuwe albums, maar met name oude platen die een heruitgave krijgen. Het Britse Charly Records is in dit laatste gespecialiseerd. Het reissue label viert volgend jaar zijn vijftigste verjaardag, maar geeft op de platenbeurs alvast het startsein voor de festiviteiten.

Op zaterdag 11 en zondag 12 november kun je muziekliefhebbers en vinyl verzamelaars uit de hele wereld ontmoeten. We hebben standhouders afkomstig uit Zuid-Afrika, Japan, Brazilië, Mexico, Zuid- Korea, USA en elk Europees land.
We have dealers from all corners of the world, coming from as far as the USA, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and every European country. Together they fill more than 16,000 square metres. The genres on sale across an area the size of nearly two football fields vary in equal amount. Krautrock, Speed metal, Prog. Nederbeat, South African jazz, Cape Verde folk, you name it. If there’s a record you’re looking for chances are it’s here in one of our 550 stalls. We are the world's undisputed largest record fair with an unprecedented number of visitors.
But RecordPlanet is more than just the biggest record fair in the world. It’s a place where people meet, connect and share their love and passion for music and vinyl, we feature an auction, exhibitions, autograph and listening sessions, book presentations and live performances.

Buy your ticket in the online pre-sale and save money and time by not having to stand in line at the cash desk. Children up to and including 15 years of age, if accompanied by an adult, have free admission.
The build-up day of the fair is always on Friday. But this day is also traditionally the day that people from the industry can meet, network and do business with each other. To ensure safety during the build-up on Friday, only a LIMITED number of tickets are available for this Friday. As an extra bonus, this exclusive ticket also gives you the opportunity to visit the fair during the regular fair weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
Opening hours: Saturday 09:00 to 17:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 17:00.
