Steve Rachmad has proudly shown his love for Canadians during the past three editions of his very own kis.-night, but now it's time to present quality closer to home. ‘Keep it simple.’ is not necessarily meant as basic or simple as such. It's about simple pleasures in life; straightforward, true and inspirational. After inviting his international favorites like The Mole, Cobblestone Jazz and Guillaume & The Coutu Dumontins, it’s up to his personal pick of local heroes for a takeover in the Kingsday weekend.

Supporting Steve will be Makam, who has been making an impressive and steady uprise lately - playing venues like Concrete & Panorama Bar whilst on a heavy international traveling schedule. His latest record on his new label Amulett has been getting excellent reviews throughout the industry. Completing Studio 1 are Maarten Mittendorff & Jasper Wolff, known for their solid Detroit techno sound and running the Indigo Area label. Haarlem-based DIY-label Karton will take matters in to hand in the second room, represented by founders Pelle & Dave.
