Born (01-05-1991) in the region of Amsterdam and expatriated to the north-east part of Holland, Boris Karsemeijer grew up in a small village, living with his parents and older sister. During his high school period, he got introduced to electronic music, got interested and started discovering the fascinating world of the night.
At the age of 19 he moved to Groningen. Not long after, he bought his first set of equipment and started DJ-ing. With jazz and soul influences by his parents, he started playing funky, underground house with heavy baselines.

Born (01-05-1991) in the region of Amsterdam and expatriated to the north-east part of Holland, Boris Karsemeijer grew up in a small village, living with his parents and older sister. During his high school period, he got introduced to electronic music, got interested and started discovering the fascinating world of the night.
At the age of 19 he moved to Groningen. Not long after, he bought his first set of equipment and started DJ-ing. With jazz and soul influences by his parents, he started playing funky, underground house with heavy baselines.
In November 2013, he was approached by Niels Folkersma to start a community to gather young talent with passion for house music. Together they started organizing house events at club Subsonic and simultaneously creating a stage for themselves. Kabor was the first that signed as resident DJ at House Couture and quickly started searching for a deeper, more complicated sound. Because of these developments, his DJ career evolved fast and started to get more gigs at several clubs and organisations in Groningen. After spending a lot of time behind the decks, his style slowly changed and developed in a deeper, minimalistic sound.
In July 2014 Kabor made his first appearance in one of the most respected clubs in the Netherlands, Paradigm. Where he played with artists like Neo Young, Andreas Bergmann and tINI. Some of his many musical influences include Brett Jacobs, East End Dubs, tINI, Shlomi Aber, Basti Grub and many more.
Overall brings Kabor a blend of deep tech, minimal and minimal techno, which in somehow you always feel that particular house groove.
