On july 9th 2012 the brandnew Encounters label will release their 1st release. A compilation album (CD/Digital) including tracks by 5412, Copacod, Alien Industry, Capslock, Fulgency, Gigue, Monotron_nl, Low Entropy, Daan, Newk, FFF, Jahua, PMM, White Frame, Missqulater, Ching Tong (shabushabu & gulpEpsh) and LakiLaki.
Shabushabu & Lakilaki from Japan will perform on the release night in Den haag on July 9th. This is their only show in Holland!!
The label owners Copacod, Newk & FFF will musically fill in the rest of the evening.
WHERE: Café de Vinger – Bagijnestraat 25. Den Haag (bij het Stadhuis).
DAMAGE ONLY: €3,00. Free shot if you come early enough!

Shabushabu:
DJ Shabushabu is a multi-talented musician, singer, and producer from Kyoto, Japan who combines Japanese traditional music with original sounds and modern rhythms.
In 1998, when he was still a high school student, DJ Shabushabu made a demo tape that attracted worldwide attention in the underground music scene that was later released on the techno label 2CB, run by a UK techno unit called Subhead.
Since then he has continued to release music on the UK based Subhead & Stuff record labels.In 2003, DJ Shabushuabu began a new group called “Obake Jaa” together with the musician Oorutaichi that mixed music genres such as electronic music, hiphop, reggae and Japanese pop dance music to create sounds unlike any other musicians in the world. Obake Jaa released the albums "Obake-jaa" in 2004 and “Manpukogo" in 2006.
In 2007, DJ Shabushabu released his first full-length album "All in One Pot", and went on to release his 2nd album “SONO FX” in September 2009.
DJ Shabushabu began his own record label KUMARU records and released a compilation album “KUMARU EXPO 2010” and an album together with Okamoto Usamu of the band Neco Nemuru called “AGYOU” in March 2010. and a new album with GulpEpch alled "GULSHABU" in 2011.

In 2002 MAHO was shocked by the THAIDISCO scene in Thailand, where they really express Asian good-naturedly chaotic sound smoothly through their music. Since then she started to spin Thailand original techno music as MAHO+THAIDISCO-真保☆タイディスコ and shocked the clubs all over Japan, released two hit Thaidisco mixCD’s “mannnakaga utyuude disco (2007)" and “pro pra prick (HONCHO SOUND 2008)".
Gradually, instead of being limited by existing THAIDISCO sounds, she wanted to express her own sounds from her inside. In 2009 she finally releases her first self-made album☆”sumbasyo kirumono karamatte-住m syo着るmの絡まって" which strikes the world by her innovative dance floor tracks and MCing .
Now, she has reached to a style called ZUNPPA TECHNO, a caned flavor of sounds from the places she had been before. -Born in North Japan, Grew up in Tokyo, Adoring Osaka, and Now living in Kyoto.
In 2010, she changed her name to LAKILAKI was MAHO+THAIDISCO ,and is scheduled to releasing her 2nd album “FUTURISTIC HANDIWORKS (2010)” which is the milestone of her ZUNPPA TECHNO sound, including a DJ mix track mixing only her self-made ZUNPPA TECHNO!
She says, ”I emerged from a pupa, Now I’m able to make everybody more energetic than ever before!!!” Thus, she has progressed through many stages, you can’t miss any of her ever-lasting energisch sounds!!!!!

Copacod:
Like a psychedelic chameleon in the electronic music-scene, copacod never tires of re-inventing himself. In his younger days he first started torturing his Atari ST to create weird sounds, then ventured into the noise-scene for some time, discovered how to use trackers with the help of FFF and released his first tracks under the moniker Murderville Soundmachine. Musically he doesn't really believe in rigid styles and always tries to blend his passion for diverse music and something he calls 'happy accidents'. These are playful sonic creations with a twist.

Dancing on the boundries of sonic perception, while trying to visit as much as possible facets of- and the duality of life (fruitful & decaying) at once. This as the avatar “Newk” (a combination of the words new and nuke). Started out as one of those kids trying to get the most out of his Amiga computer and the Korg MS-20 he took over from his mom. Then moved on to virtual studio stuff with the same approach. Beorn Lebenstedt, born in Wuppertal, Germany, moved to The Netherlands at
the age of 2 and grew up in Arnhem. Moved to Rotterdam in 2000 to meet the Wreck Havoc crew and Dstruct collective. began dj’ing at freehouseparties and squat-restaurants… Always been obsessed with electronic and digital sound… especially weird sounds, that is possible this way, and there seems no end to it what makes it so exiting to him. Often plays immersive atmospheric that is combined with raw sounds because they are so contradicting. manages to find new ways to convince the listener that what he plays is all danceable music too.

FFF:
FFF started making music mid 90s, influenced by Jungle, breakbeat hardcore, digital hardcore. He released his music on labels like Planet Mu, Kool.Pop, Mindbender, Sprengstoff, Hong Kong Violence, K-produktions, Sonic Beligeranza. Released his 1st full length album "20.000 hardcore members can't be wrong" on the japanese Murder Channel label and he continues to release on this label. His next full length will be released end of 2012.
He organised the now legendary breakcore a gogo events (together with Bong-Ra) at Waterfront Rotterdam and is organising the Wreck havoc parties.
Toured around the world playing from large festivals to squat parties.
Live you can expect a blend of Rave, Jungle, Riotbeats, raggacore with a dose of gabba.
