Tuna Park goes UK on the Tresor Floor tonight, starting with Gary Beck, who is a dance music producer and DJ. Bekaudio is his own imprint started in August of 2009. The first release was one of his own, “Over to you”. Quality is the main thing he looks for in a release, and he carefully chooses what goes out on the label. Although the style is mainly dance music, he considers all genres for release. Refusing to be caught up in the new wave of sync technology Gary prefers to work with turntables along with Traktor and controllers keeping the old and new school vibe alive. Moving right along, Norfolk-based Mark Broom has always been a name that is synonymous with the UK electronic music scene since the start of 90s. A truly prolific artist, he has a myriad of production credits to his name having worked with world renowned labels such as Mo-Wax, Warp, R&S, Soma, Ifach (with Baby Ford ) Bpitch Control, Platzhirsch,Rotary Cocktail, Material and more recently 2020 vision. His biography is dizzying and chocked full of excellent releases over the years. 2010 seems to be no different with releases on Edit Select, Material, a collab with James Ruskin on Blueprint titled "No Time Soon" plus releases on Mark's own Beardman imprint, and not forgetting his long waited album which will come soon on Saved Records. With support from our excellent techno basement resident Marcel Heese, you're locked in for a bangin' Friday night. Berlin-based, Upstairs in the +4Bar, Swiss-born Quarion (aka Ianeq) has produced and played with a wide variety of musicians since the late nineties. A special project of hip-hop, Nu Jazz and techno production, Quarion's admiration for dub grooves and Detroit techno deepness (or vice-versa) was praised after his stunning tribute to Mad Mike entitled "The Light". Going back to the roots of hipnotic dance music, Quarion is all about the deeper aspects of house and techno - spellbinding. Sharing the decks is Sweat Lodge Radio's NYC-born Elie Eidelman (sometimes known as aka Humus), and Christian Vance who is one of Australias premier techno technicians. Based in Melbourne, Christian has been performing live & DJing the world over for over of a decade and has released on Perspectiv as well as on his own label Haul music.
