Essential is expert in uniting its visitors and stakeholders through the power of music, and foremost electronic (dance) music. Essential is keen to offering its visitors a challenging, innovative and creative environment in which they can escape their daily patterns and share in an experience that will become part of their most cherished memories. Essential connects businesses, municipalities, local communities and visitors in moments that hold value and thereby creates added value for all parties involved.

Essential has been providing its experiences through an (inter) national network of over 10 indoor and outdoor event locations, 6 municipalities, 11 brands and has market presence in three European countries. Essential is active within the Meuse–Rhine Euroregion (Dutch: Euregio Maas–Rijn, French: Eurorégion Meuse–Rhin, German: Euregio Maas–Rhein) area.

The company was founded by Alain Bosten, Gaston Bosten and Kenny Mordang in 2012. They are still in charge of the day-today management.
