Shift Radio

Shift Radio is an independent online radio working on shifting the algorithm through live stream based in Montreal, Canada. For the past year, Shift and its members have been operating on a weekly basis, without any profit motives, to showcase the abundance and diversity of the Montreal electronic music scene.The Covid-19 pandemic has been a disaster for the arts and culture, but we believe that through these livestreams, we're actually able to bring the music community together and promote new artists and new music that's selected by people, not algorithms.An alternative to traditional media; a Montreal-based radio station whose content has no boundaries. A place where people can fully express themselves by playing what they really love, without having the pressure of "fitting in".
