IMPAKT is a media arts organisation based in Utrecht and founded in 1988. We present critical and creative views on contemporary media culture and arts, in an interdisciplinary context. Our aim is to identify emerging paradigms in transglobal culture, by focusing on the relationship between society, media, technology and arts. We organise exhibitions, events and artist residencies throughout the year and you can visit our Channel and Archive online. Our main project is the yearly IMPAKT Festival, a five-day event that includes exhibitions, film screenings, lectures, panels, performances, and artist talks. Although IMPAKT has a very critical attitude towards Facebook, we currently choose to remain on Facebook until there is a more privacy-friendly, yet accessible alternative.
