Hey guys i'm new here and I am producing songs for song time now. I have made some song in a year.

First i will introduce myself:

Holland is the number 1 music country in the world. Best dj's are from Holland and in Holland are the most and best parties. So now i want to ask you party people about your opinions about my songs!

99.9 miligrams was my first production ^^

Listening to: time travel
pretty known acid bass line, hard trance melody. must be hardtrance, sounds ok very known principle, pretty easy melody but it has good sound. i like piano but then your track stops.... so i can't give a full review. i like piano a lot. track sounds good but too late for this time, you should have been couple years earlier..

dimension:

nice intro, good feeling. sound are a bit like arpegiator function. easy to build. just like yur other track it's bit not detailed enough ig people want to have this. you should concider some more tricks and stuff, make new style , couse this style is familiour. and not too difficult.

but i must say it sounds good. but it's not too the max. 3 a 4 years ago you could have made lots fans. i guess..

but i really like to go to sweden some time for a nice hardcore party maybe some liveacts in the future "maybe" but it sure is some thing to look out for

It's very difficult 2 remix a Frank Zenker production ... maybe that's the reason there are almost none ! ... I've heard a remix made by dark by design ( Overdrive ) and it seems it is possible 2 made a good remix ... now I've heard your remix of FM I must say ... once again ... it seems it is possible 2 made a good remix of a SP production



Only detail > I suppose you don't have the original vocal of FM ... now you can see ... vocals are very important

Very nice speed up track with a superb spacey break and a lots of thick & warm synths / leads ... also a nice melody

Same story as Time Travel except the break because I didn't recognised a real break in your audio file

I think you have the talent for breaking through in the near future because your producing skills are if you know the right people ofcourse and if you have some luck ... keep up the good work and maybe I'll contact you for the full mp3's so I can try them out for you here in Holland for a Dutch audience

well what can i say.. the files that are on www.soundclick.com/drdeal is not so good these are older verisions (there is newer ones that is better)

well this is just my hard trance side, i make acid music under "dr. deal" also scheck them out

im trying to do everything to release somethning, but as we all know "it takes time" hehe

I've listened the remix of 'DJ Scot Project - FM' and now listening 'Dr. Deal - 99.9 Miligrams (Original Mix)' and i must say that i'm quite impressed! Especially the Dr. Deal track is cool, i like hardtrance the acid way, makes the music sound quite "schmutzig"!

Edit: Now i listened to some more tracks i'm even more impressed. I like the diversity in your tracks; from melodic hardtrance to hard acid to freeform. Keep up the good work!

I also heard the whole tracks, and the only thing i can say is that I really love them. Especially next extit remix, time travel and dimension. It's the style of hardtrance there must be more of
The second thing: Respect that it's all fruity loops. I am also trying to make this kind of hardtrance for a couple of years now (with FL), but never reached this sound yet. Also using V station, vanguard etc. but never created such synths as yours.
I'm looking forward to your new track.

I've got the full tracks of Dimension & Time Travel via a friend. I'm a big fan of hardtrance and your tracks fit right in! I try to produce hardtrance myself... and take this as a compliment, I envy you for being so f*ckin good at 16 (no hard feelings btw ). Keep it up!

This kind of Hardtrance is unique these days.. I heard for the first time of you in the mix of Vince Gerrard (which I also love )

I haven't heard your tracks yet, will do so in a minute.

My advice is to send the tracks to alot of labels, if they're really good you'll get a reaction.

16.....when I was 16 I didn't even listen to dance music.

I've listened to a couple of tracks and I must say that I'm very impressed.

But (don't worry, I always have a "but" when I comment), I do think that the melody of Time Travel and Dimenson are quite similar.

Besides this, I think you'll have to keep on going. Nice work, and promote yourself. A producer can produce the best songs, but may never break through, because nobody hears his tracks.

well weird thing is , ultraform had mostly positive reactions from ppl .. so i dont think that will be much different when it gets released...but the most shitty thing is that noobier producers DO get a chance to release their shit... hmmmpfff the world is not fair

They are talking about the music scene and that it is hard for new producers to enter the scene, even if they are very talented... sad but true...

so ya mean ultraform cant get a release at any label because it is hard? Did Dumonde say something like that?

Your productions all sound pretty pro and full of potential.. for your age you are definetly beyond the average which is very good .

But when you look further then your nice sound and technically good arrangements, the melodies and leads you use are a bit cheesy.. kinda ''what I have heard a million times before''. But eh, that doesn't really matter now.. you only just begun producing, and your tracks are great for someone your age / producing experience! . One more piece of advice: don't let all the loving comments go to your head and keep on working on new stuff until you really think ''well it's about time I got a label for this one''. Maybe I can help you a little .

erm you sound a little arrogant. yes it sounds like alphazone and hes inspired by ace's delight ? but whats wrong with that . maybe you have heard it a million times before, but its what real hardtrance fans like to hear. the word 'cheesy' has a very negative meaning. is just not in place here, its a big insult.....

You don't mean anything bad with it. Just like Dumonde said in a interview. It's fucking hard for talents to get their songs released. Label dont make any profits on a new unknown releaser. So it must be really special if it's gets released.

In the hardtrance scene it's really hard to sell vinyl because not many people know and buy it.. A lot of people are downloading it also so it sucks :!(

So ultraform now you know what u have to do! Your music is great but i think you can do better

In het interview zeggen ze dat ze heel veel demos opgestuurd krijgen waarvan er sommigen zelfs erg goed zijn... maar soms komen ze dan net op het verkeerde moment dat ze het risico niet durven te nemen om het uit te brengen op hun label, aangezien je toch enkele 1000en platen moet verkopen om een beetje uit de kosten te komen... Misschien dat het met andere labels beter gaat, maar ik vrees van niet. Zelfs Bonzai is 2 jaar geleden failliet gegaan en die was toch erg groot..... Maar Ultraform moet gewoon blijven proberen, gewoon tracks blijven sturen totdat een label hapt...

Not really my kind of music, but production wise quite good!
And that for a 16 year old. If you carry on the way you do now, we'll probably be hearing and seeing a lot more from you in the not-too-distant future.

Ultrafrom try an unknow label. Then it can be released pretty easy because u have nice tracks. Then if its released dj's will spin the record and know ur name. Then after that u send some tracks to a good label and it will be released

The way to get known is to be played...

So an idea could be to send your mp3's (samples) around to DJ's and ask if they would spin it. If the answer is 'yes' or 'OF COURSE!', you maybe could try pressing a few vinyls yourself and send them to the DJ's. If they play it and your tracks get noticed, that would be a good way to start your reputation. I don't know if it's a good idea or not. I'm just speaking my mind here. Pressing vinyl as an individual at a low number could be pricey, but see it as an investment.
A cheaper solution is if the DJ spins with mp3's...

You wouldn't earn any money this way with your tracks, but the chance of doing so in the future might get bigger.
