What is Frenchcore

Can someone please tell me what the hell frenchcore is

i think i have the general prespective of it but im not sure

fast hardcore

slow terror

Can you expand on that like genre definations, where is mostly based, some artists etc... etc..

Relative hard dance music which cannot be easy placed in other genres (or something like that).

No, in my opinion it's more a defenition to categorize music. People like to place everything inside a framework, but with music is not that easy. There are no clear borders to determine what's frenchcore...

Possible names are:

Manu Le Malin
Radium
Androgyn Network
Al Core
Micropoint
Kyo O aka hardcoholics
Tieum(?)
Joshua
Laurent Ho

But there are people with a better knowledge of this kind of music, so you only have to be patient.

Manu le Malin makes 'normal' industrial hardcore, and Tieum is more influenced by the Dutch hardcore sound, so they both don't make frenchcore

Frenchcore sounds alot like Terror only in my opinion Frenchcore sounds a bit 'happier' and less fast, but it is still a lot faster than the average Dutch hardcore track.

Micropoint, Radium, Androgyn Network, Hardcoholics, Micron, Armaguet Nad

Few labels: Dead End Records, Born 2 Kick Records, Arena, Psychik Genocide, Neurotoxic, Epileptik has some french-core releases, K.Ni.Bal, Epiteth (superior label), Go More Core, there are a lot more, butt I am a bit to lazy to name them all

Also Sub radar records, Capsule corps.

For me real frenchcore is the stuff from a few years ago...the distorted stuff...THAT'S frenchcore...
Radium etc. don't make that distorted stuff anymore so for me it also isn't frenchcore anymore but just faster hardcore...
Micropoint was a lot better and a good defenition of frenchcore...
