but i think that a good artist can put on the same show without mixing set's of i think about 15 minut's to eachother that are already on the same speed so you only have to press play.
he did about 4 mixes in one hour... and he used 2 records an hour long for scratching and that kind of things...
so i can see that you like the music but don't tell me that he's mixing...

I couldn't even read all the answers to your message before writing back to you as I'm pretty much as mad as fuck after reading your message. >:///
I don't know why you write such utter shit about Proteus but I sure would like to. The reason for calling your message shit is that I've seen him play at least every other week for 3½ years (or so) for now. Of those 3½ years I've been able to check out his mixing from a close distance whenever I've wanted to for about 2 years.
I've never seen him do the way you accuse him of doing and you've seen him play, what, once?
I also don't understand why in the hell are you are bothered by him playing some tunes with cd players. Actually I think you ought to be pretty damn happy every time he digs out a cd as it pretty much says "hey, here's some exclussive material (by the finnish artists) that hasn't been released on vinyl yet." It may take < ~6 months before tracks that he's playing now hit the stores and are available for all dj's - As soon as they're released on vinyl you'll never see him play them from CD again.
Are suggesting that he should a) not play the tracks before they're available on vinyl or

make expensive dubplates (that wear out after only a few uses if I've understood correctly) of each unreleased track he plans on playing?
