Marco Remus is definately a pssibility, and for the rest you will be suprised how Adam and Umek are playing these days especially @ club gigs, funky, not that hard, Umek may be a possibility as we have licensed a track from his label Relooped for the Concept label! (youll know it when you here it! )

To be honest, I don't know THAT MANY techno names. I have to say that

I like michel de hey, don't get me wrong. But mostly the old hall is much softer than the max.

I don't have a problem with "softer techno". But if I have to choose between that, and hardhouse. I'm up for the hardhouse.

But if names like adam beyer/chris liebing (or their style at least ) are in the old hall... You can find me more often there

But marco remus was playing really really hard... can't wait to see him @ awakenings festival though

I don't mind techno either, had a great time at Awakenings. But to me, HQ is hardhouse!

With those wicked sounds in the Max, I can't be bothered about the Old Hall.

Umek is one of my all time favorites. First time I saw him was on innercity 2002. Second time was Impulz Outdoor last year (he rocked the last hour :respect. And offcourse Dance Valley last year

Raven thats true the old hall is definately softer than the max and thats the prpose of it, its a techno room and it will stay techno, also it being a club gig it gives people a chance when they play there to play what they want to, mainly because of the longer sets, festivals are always shorter sets which means dj's will always play the harder tracks, the idea behind the old hall is to get the big boys in and let them do their thing, but i promise you this, ill do my best to get some of the guys you are all mentioning here in there in the furure!

And ill turn it up a little in my sets

But anyway dont want you all leaving the max to come chill in the techno (yeah right!)

Ive booked Umek for 2 more gigs this year not including Dance Valley ..

So that makes 3 more times this year you will be able to see him at a Concept room at one of the UDC parties

Don't get me wrong, I am all for that. And I don't think it should be hard all the time neither

And offcourse it's true that @ festivals they play harder cuz of the shorter sets.

But let me give Profiles last year as an example. Chris liebing was playing there for 5 hours ( if I am correct ). Well, The first 2 hours were kind of soft (liked it as well though ). But later on he began to rock like he usually does

Maybe it's an idea to book 1 good techno dj for the old hall. That way, you'll save money for booking him ( hehe ). And he (or she :kwijl will get the chance to really build up their own sets. and go insane the last hour (or two )

Myself and Michel will be doing regular 3 hour sets, and some of the bigger guys coming in for one offs will also get the chance to play at least 2-3 hours

Umek is playing at Impulz Outdoor, right? Umek made me night at Impulz outdoor last year.

Since HQ is more known for its hardhouse than its techno.
