Welcome to Kapotcast Episode 21. As we hinted last week on our socials; we have a special tribute to a fallen comrade in store.

Originally, Yuri van Vlijmen from Mindustries was supposed to do this month's Kapotcast mix. Tragically, as most of you know, he passed away last June, leaving a void both in our hearts and in the darker regions of the hardcore techno scene. Therefore, it couldn't be more fitting to dedicate this edition to filling some of that void with the very essence of his legacy.

Immerse yourself in this tribute (mega)mix by Symp.tom's label chief, Mental Wreckage. This is more than just a playlist - it's a showcase & time capsule of Yuri's impressive music career, featuring all of his released tracks, collaborations, and remixes (both solo and with Nils, his Mindustries partner in crime). So tune in, turn the volume way up, and as we journey back and forth between his earliest material and his final works, let us remember the man behind the music with both a smile and a tear.

This is for you, Yuri. Farewell old friend, may your music and memory live on forever.

Wel benieuwd hoe hij in de echte Millenium stijl had geklonken. Want die invloeden zitten er volop in, alleen een naar mijn smaak iets te hoog tempo.
