Het "Early-liefhebbers in opstand - forum".

vanwege de toename van ontevreden early - liefhebbers,en om het earlyhardcore/oldskool forum een beetje schoon te houden.

hier kan alles geplaatst worden,van verschrikkelijk voorspelbare hitjesparade`s tot het gevloek en getier als je voor de zoveelste x een xtc love raveworld of bad dreams voorbij heb horen komen.

er zal nog veel meer zijn waar over geklaagd moet worden dus barst maar los.

en nou maar hopen dat de dj`s die hier te spraken komen er wat mee doen.8)

This whole Coachella Grimes thing has been interesting to me. Whenever people have this strong of a reaction to something it makes me think about why, and I think I have an answer.

Turning in a performance like this I think betrays a very serious disregard for the skill and art of DJing. The long and short of it I think, is that this is what it looks like when somebody thinks "DJing is just pressing play. How hard could it be?"

Well, Grimes found out how hard it is. And I think it's frustrating to those of us that respect DJing as a craft to see such a high profile artist treating it with such flippancy and disregard. This is not to say that Grimes doesn't have talent or ability musically, just that it's obvious she doesn't have any respect for DJing. If she did, she would have done her due diligence, and the performance would not have turned out the way it did.

I think it's a teachable moment for everyone who treats this skill as something that anybody can do, that doesn't require practice, skill or talent. This is what happens when you get on a stage and try to do this without knowing your equipment, and without proper preparation.

It takes skill. It takes practice. And skilled DJs deserve your respect. It takes much more than you probably think to pull off an entire set of this stuff at a high level.

Was ff aan het kijken of er al dj consoles uitgekomen waren die echt gericht zijn op handen gebruiken inplaats van op knoppen te drukken, en toen zag ik deze. :lol:

Mooie grote schijven en weinig toeters en bellen......... perfect!

Aha. Het is er eentje waarbij je echt wat moet doen. En je niet alleen de usb stick er in hoeft te stoppen en het apparaat automatisch een mix maakt.

Ik zet alle extra`s qua drumpads, toeters & bellen altijd uit.
Wil gewoon mixxen zoals ik zou doen met 2 draaitafels en een mengpaneel, alles meer is onnodig imo. :)

Dit a.s. zaterdag, echt heel dik. Zelfs Speedy J zit er tussen. Wel een vreemde zou je zo zegen, maar wel open minded om hem te nemen.

Heel lang geleden......... kan nou niet wachten om naar me nest te gaan. :roflol:

De enige keren dat ik op die dag ook echt buiten in het centrum was voor de pacha op de wallen en bij mazzo / rothaanhuis.

Moet er nou niet meer aan denken om tussen al dat volk te lopen. :lol:

Laatste x dat ik het gevierd heb (20+ jaar geleden :lol: ) stond ik in de verkeerde straat te flippen dat me sleutel niet in het slot paste.
Overal daar aan bellen en vragen waarom ze de sloten hadden verwisseld. :roflol:

Paar minuten later de politie, vroegen wat ik aan het doen was.
Na me aangehoord te hebben vroegen ze me adres en die gaf ik, bleek dat ik in een heel verkeerde straat stond......... ze waren wel zo aardig om me ff voor de (goede) deur af te zetten. :roflol:

Paar minuten later de politie, vroegen wat ik aan het doen was.

We will take you back to the golden era. With purely the original style of hardcore. Our dedicated artists will show their skills on the decks in this vinyl-only event. We will deliver hardcore the way it was delivered in the 90s, with turntables!
This time, we are bringing a Waxweazle Records legend. DJ Berry!!! @re_charge_official was also a member of the infamous Waxweazle DJ Team with DJ Waxweazle, Noizer, and MC Drokz. Recharge released many EP's on both Waxweazle Records and Bad Vibes Records. This time, he is back to vinyl and spinning the original hardcore sound!!!
As always, recording or taking pictures will NOT be allowed. Back in the 90s, mobile phones with cameras didn't exist. People were more connected with the music at parties. That is why at Gabber Resistance, we would like to recreate that vibe. We kindly ask everyone to obey this rule in order to contribute to the unique '90s vibe. STOP FILMING, START DANCING!
In regards to the photo/video policy, it is also not allowed to use any other form of photography on the dancefloor. This includes polaroids and analogue cameras. Even though, initially, we allowed this, every event we do more and more people come with these types of cameras, and it is getting a bit too much. You can use them in the smoking area as well as phones.
Make sure to grab your ticket as soon as possible as last time the event was sold out quite fast. If this happens, there will be no door sale. The event will be from 23:55-06:00.

Ben blij dat er vroeger geen smartphones waren :D Met de muziek bezig zijn, dansen daar ging het om. En okay genieten van versnaperingen. Maar, die waren er juist om nog meer op te gaan daarin.
