We've seen healthy growth on Discogs and in the Marketplace over the past few years. It's because of this growth that we hired another programmer this past December and, as a result, were able to complete long needed changes like updates to Site Search, Master Release, and Shadow Cat.

While we've managed to keep fees at an incredibly competitive rate of 5%, for nearly 4 years, we've come to a point where we need to make fee and invoicing changes.

Effective July 1st, 2009

- Marketplace Fees will be increased from 5.00% to 6.00%
- Minimum Fee for any item sold will be $0.10
Example: A $1.00 or $1.70 item would both have a fee of $0.10, the former would be charged the minimum fee and the latter 6.00%
- Minimum Invoice Amount will be removed and all successful orders will be invoiced on their next billing cycle

These changes will support increasing our staff and improving our technology infrastructure.
