listen to Nexes @ Dominator 008.. listen when How long is going to be mixed with "Dedicated to dancers", you will hear, before mixing it, you can hear a little piece of "Adapt or die" from Moc.. and you know why? it's because Nosferatu in his set @ Geert bedankt, mixed How long just with Adapt or die, the set has been recorded and some people have ripped that part, to play How long.. so also Nexes did it... try to listen if you don't believe me..

I really appreciate this example. Very clever you discovered this. But I think this is an exception. It is really strange and not proffesional that nexes did this at Dominator. Isn't that illegal?

If a DJ still like it.. He can still play it. That is a matter of taste. Nationality is not important

ok, i agree with you, that too much mash ups in a set, is not the best thing, but however are not only Tommy and Mad Dog, that play mash ups.. Viper recently made a new mash up, with the vocal of "Creators of hardcore" (Bodylotion rmx) then the melody of Loops and things from Jens,the kick of Chronic disorder and so and so.. Outblast play many times shit like Chronic counter ecc..

from a "dj-skills" point of view I totally agree, but from a "party-going-crowd-wanna-have-a-good-time" point of view, one of two mash-ups won't really hurt anybody. At least not when it's played occassionally... but that goes for any record, nobody wants to hear the same tracks every set.

Hmm als ik jou agenda bekijk, zie ik project en Decibel staan bij je laatste 5 feesten. The Viper & Mad Dog, Nexes & Playah, Amnesys heb ik Op Project mash ups horen draaien. Op Decibel heb ik ook meerdere artisten horen mash uppen.

Zoals eerder genoemd, er zijn zoveel DJ's die mash ups draaien. Wij in dit topic worden er gek van, maar the big-crowd niet.

Nu je het zegt, was ook aardig vet in de HMH toen, jammer genoeg heeft ie achteraf gezegd dat het niet snel meer zou gebeuren, en als het zou gebeuren het vs Endymion zou zijn.

Bij Try Before You Die in 2007 zal ik nooit vergeten. Open podium in het midden, stond hij daar met zijn keyboard/synth en drumcomputer

Ophidian Live op Ground Zero 2007 in de Industrial... ook om nooit te vergeten
