Ja leuk. Maar goed, het is een vierkante zaal met een podium hahaha!!

hoe was het? dik denk?
Oef, was heerlijk man! Zaaltje voor de helft gevuld maar vooraan lekker kunnen knallen. Alleen mijn vrouwelijke partner in crime kreeg wat last van de alcohol waardoor ik het begin een beetje mistte.
Ik dacht alleen dat het tot 6 uur duurde. Knallen om 4 of 5 uur (weet t geeneens meer haha) opeens de lichten aan. Wist het toen ff niet meer allemaal.
Vanavond housen voor het goede doel geloof ik in Waterfront met o.a. Darko Esser. Maar Larkin zou beter zijn

top 10 january 2008!!!!
still have to go trough 800 records wich i had on hold @ juno for quite some time now but for the start of the year the things that i played the most on cd:
1: yuro & trago- primary roots (rush hour)
when i received the original mix last year i was already blown away by this deep omar-s kinda techno thingy....it's everything i'm looking for in techno nowadays....and now with the more than epic rmx from redshape this package is going off! just close your eyes and let the red man shoot you into heaven....with a twist
2: Delta Funktionen- Nebula (delsin.ann aimee)
young dutch talent delivering a very deep and haunting dark spooky track....pffff, dark and moody but still danceable....if you wanna take it to a slightly more serious direction this is the cut!
3: pitto- sexvibe (area remote)
oldschool filterdisco madness, it takes the right timing to play it but when the timing and setting is right it's all about p.a.r.t.y this guy is getting there....
4: warren fellow- changes 🇪🇨
my mate. my brother, my lover....and his best track till date, this will be huge! be aware....
5: dennis ferrer- black man in space (objektivity)
house, house, house, house, house, house, house, house...............
6: oliver twist- houston we've got a problem "instrumental mix" (demo)
nice and easy minimal inspired clubtune for the bigger floors, play it a lot these days so deserves to get charted.
7: fokko versloot & koen lebens- circus (outland)
same goes for this one, didn't expect to play it so much but looking back to last year, played it almost every (hands in the air time....hypnotizing, funky track with nice effects and sounds....little "hit" in the making
8: armand van helden- je taime "switch rmx" (?)
i tought i was really done with the whole switch thing but somehow i really like to play out this one at the lighter party's, it's heavy, it's chaotic, it's kinda cheesy i guess but i jus like those beats.....probably (or surely bored of it by the next 3 weeks but for now it does the job perfectly
9: djinxx & xpansul- spanish kebab/parasol (ovum)
another month, another great ovum....this time with the mighty djinxx delivering 1 party-track wich does the job properly and 1 deeper afair wich reminds me a bit of steve rachmad's older stuff....nice
10: djinxx, nubian mindz, newworldaquarium album, james kumo- all tracks (delsin/ann aimee)
well, the only reason these tracks are not on nmr 1 is otherwise i look like a delsin groupie (wich i guess i am but hell yeah, another bunch of future classics for the deeper floors....really liking all the stuff from delsin and sublabel ainn amee lately. delsin records made a big statement last 2 years by putting detroit inspired techno on a slightly "been here done that" map again, the only thing about delsin is that it's more than "been here done that"....much more, check it!
11: gary beck- on the run (mezzotinto)
oeps, almost forgot haha, the tittle says it all....dark chasing crazy track....love it! mezzotinto is djinxx label showcasing some of the nicest newcomers in the scene (mogdax release last year was probably my favourite release of 2007!)

top 10 january 2008!!!!

Larkin had een paar momenten met hele dikke platen, maar in ze geheel was het erg slordig en onsamenhangend, zonde want hij kan veel beter.
