To be rickrolled is, when browsing internet forums one comes across a link in a thread expecting to find one thing, but ends up at a website which has nothing to do with the topic being discussed in the thread.
Rick Astley is probably used because upon hearing his voice, many people assume him to be a large, black man. (No, actually it refers more to his dancing. Observe that Rick has only one move in which he almost "rolls" or rocks from side to side. Hence, you have been Rickrolled.) Then, when they see him, they are shocked to find just the opposite, a skinny, white man.
Rickrolling is a new trend in online posting, in which a link is apparently provided to a seemingly interesting source, when in fact, it is a link to a Rick Astley video, "Never Gonna Give You Up".
