Summer Holidays ( IBIZA etc...)

Hey

Soon soon the summer is coming!! Well it was never really cold this winter, but I'm really looking forward to the summer and especially the summer holidays!!

Do you have allready plans what you want to do?

This summer will be like one big party to me

I'll go together with a friend to Lloret de Mar from July 21st untill July 25th and then we move to Ibiza untill August 6th and then 2 days Barcelona to cool down a bit

I never went to ibiza before and I'm really looking forward to it!! The only bad thing is that there's no hard dance music

Did anyone of you go to Ibiza or Lloret before? How is it, and maybe you can give some tips

i think 99% young ppl from swiss are going only over there...

I think people like this T.O. has no reason at all to go to Ibiza!
Lloret is a whole different thing than Ibiza, except for San Antonio, but they should bomb that place (my intuition tells me you're gonna spend your holidays there )

But allright, I'am going to Ecuador this summer, for 5 weeks. And in September Iám going to Ibiza for one week!

I haven't been to llorett, but did go to Blanes. I liked it then, but that was when I was 15 years old. Wouldn't want to go there now

Ibiza though... Been there two times and it really is the place to be for me

Expensive though, but unforgettable

What do you mean with "young"?? the average age of the people going to Ibiza is around 24... so perfect for me I'll see if it's the place to be. but if you like partying and electronic music it's going to be cool for sure!

It'll be Lloret for me... not by my own choice btw... I wouldn't go there by myself. But we're going with 14 or 15 other people, nice, fun group with whom you know you're gonna have a great time, so I just couldn't say no

After all it's not the place, but the people and the sphere that matter

I don't really agree with that. Depend on what you wanne see, what you wanna do. You really can avoid these people... just find the right place (where the incrowd lives en partys)
But it is true that most people are more aware that their hair doesn't mess up, then giving all for the music. But the vibe is just amazing Never found that any where before!

But it is also true that i'm a spoiled kid Not that i'am really materialistic

i've been there, most of the people suck but you can still find some good parties and nice atmosphere even is the music is often too commercial.

Beside parties, it's a beautifull island, don't go there only for the clubs...

i went to both lloret and ibiza.

lloret. only makes sence if your age is below 20. a place where dutch/italian kids get wasted every night and then hand out on the beach. nothing special music-wise, no star djs... i enjoyed it though.

ibiza is about music and drug scene. the best djs and amazing crowd. 4 times as expensive as lloter though. highly recommended info source: http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/

heh i'm not saying anything new really but it's hard to find a person who's drinking when partying in ibiza and not doing _something else_ ))

I've been in LLoret de Mar in 1997 and it was full of gabbers (and I was a gabber too..)Hardcore party every night... as Arland wrote the place to be if you are younger than 20

I've been in Ibiza in june 2006, a romantic holiday with my boyfriend, no party because no hard music in the island but fantastic beach, lovely villages, amazing sunset...

Marina you know how the swiss people are who are yoing to house partys! so I think it wont be such a huge difference I can live with that! I'll go with some good friend so we'll have a lot of fun for sure

Yeah I just bought a tourist guide... I think we'll rent a car or a bike to discover some other parts of the island then just ibiza town! There must be some really great beaches with almost no people

lloret is fun anyway, it's not bad at all, it's just the whole different thing from ibiza. and yes, there're also were some dutch gabber parties so it might be useful if you're into this kind of music.

ibiza tickets - it's best to either buy online in advance (on spotlight) or in tantra bar (if you're staying in playa d'en bossa). we did both, there's no difference in price between the two but buying from tantra gives you more flexibility (if you're not sure you'll be able to attend all the planned parties etc.) it's the cheapest you can get. there're other bars which offer combinations of tickets+drinks

also often when leaving a night party at 7 am, wirst-bands for afterparties are given out for free admission - don't miss them!

never heard of buying at the beach, doesn't sound like a good idea to me. you can read more about buying tickets at the spotlight forum, it's brilliant!
