me too from 2001 to 2003

now it's too close to hardcore I don't like hardcore

some hs tracks are ok

has anyone got an opinion on the track i posted??

in my opinion hardstyle was cool in 2001 but started taking a turn for the worst by 2003 and has only just started to redeem itself i like the new 'hardcore' sound it has

I totally dislike old Hardstyle because it wasn't so "hard" as now

thats what i mean it was better when it was the hard trance sound

well,in 2002 - 2005 I lived at Switzerland and the scene there have been different then in NL or UK (most of scene)

i have heard that swiss raves are good im one quarter swiss a little fact about myself ive never visited though

well...there is no raves anymore...I think twice in a year is some bigger event "Sonic" and Street Parade + couple of partys after Parade(same day)

but,anyway Street Parade won't be the same as previously years cause this year everybody can be in a route (all the cars or trucks) not only 35 trucks

so,I'll see how it looks like

Hardstyle evolved out of hardtrance.

Alot of older hardtrance tunes are labeled by people as 'early hardstyle'

producers like kai tracid, scot project, derb etc have shaped the hardstyle scene in the beginning.

Too bad it went the wrong way, scot and the others jumped off the hardstyle band wagon, luckily

Because the sound is now cheap, transparante and a bit 'harder' means not it's no hardstyle.

I think it's so ridicilous to put music in so many different genres. It's all fucking music and you can like it or not! Kai Tracid and Scot Project (AROME) were saying they played hardstyle in 2001 so wtf
