Current events have brought it to our attention that there is an unacceptable amount of political attribution being credited to our music. Reflecting on past experiences arising from political association together with Hardcore music it is our position to actively voice our non affiliation with any political parties or religious organizations. We do not support or accept being stereotyped as Fascist, Neo Nazis, Skinheads or any organization based on hate and segregation. It is our belief that if our true position is not publicly illustrated the outcome will be detrimental to any organization dealing with Hardcore music to include; record labels, production companies, promotion companies, event organizers, agencies, publishers, merchandising manufactures, Artist and distributors. History has given us every indication that our music cannot withstand a public that identifies it with hate and racial intolerance.

There is nothing to be gained and everything to be lost by silently standing by and allowing the radical minority to taint our image. Political parties will apply pressure to dance establishments, which will make licenses, and permits to produce large events become obsolete. The media will highlight the radical actions and undesirable minority in such a manner that the public will believe them to be the majority. This will lead to a public outcry to withdraw any support for our type of music leading to parents that no longer allow their children to buy our products. Keep in mind that the majority of our market is young people under the age of 20. Those very same young people will also attempt a disassociation with our genre by no longer supporting the music, parties, special events or merchandising. This will cause our genre to return underground and far from the public eye. Italy will no longer be a favorable market for Hardcore in general due to hostile opposition, which will make use of false appearances and accusations to generalize the entire genre.

So-Real Music Group having assessed the situation and being one of Italy’s foremost Hardcore organization has decided to make it’s position public and herewith ask fellow organizations to state their position in regards to this matter. It is our plan to organize an active campaign to clarify our position as music producers, artists, and performers. Not political party affiliates or non-tolerance organizations with anything other than entertainment in mind.

It is our position not to affiliate with any religious group or political party. We strongly appose any association with hate groups of any kind not to exclude radical political parties. Our music, events or gatherings are solely for entertainment allowing groups of young people to calibrate musical expression in a social gathering. Hardcore is a feasible format to allow for a diversion of social distress placed upon our population on a daily basis. In laymen’s terms; it provides a positive place to let off steam and anxieties while still allowing for interaction in a social setting.

To actively become a part of “Hardcore United Against Racism and Hate” please contact Ronnie Lee at So-Real Music Group and voice your position on this matter. Your attention and time will be greatly appreciated.
