Helemaal niet, hij vond het alleen bijzonder dat er eerst een Deep Dish remix van een nummer van Paul van Dyk voorbijkwam en daarna een Paul van Dyk remix van een nummer van Deep Dish. Is ook wel interessant op zich.

Eternity Is Past - 1999 Dumonde-like. It sounds like DuMonde from 1998 but it is not DuMonde.... but WHAT is it? Maybe some strange Vengaboys remix since Vengaboys had some very strange and great remixes in those days which didn't sound like the original versions at all?

Des Mitchell 20000325 Wildenrath - Can You feel It. It sounds like a track from Airscape / Svenson & Gielen. They did produce for Des Mitchell in those days (Remember Welcome To The Dance?), so maybe this is a Des Mitchell track produced by Airscape?

Des Mitchell 20000325 Wildenrath - Close My Eyes. Some people IDed this as some old Belgian track (forgot which one). But it sure does not sound like Belgian stuff. So anyone any idea? Some vocal with Eyes, but what does he say? Close? Shut my eyes?.. Not really sure.

Back in 1998 the Eins Live website showed the track as Straydog - The Next Chapter, but there is no next chapter, only chapter 1 and chapter 2 by Straydog and those are not this track... maybe there are more tracks by Straydog?....

Back in 1998 paul van Dyk did a little DJ set for Eins Live Partyservice. This set turned out to be one of his best sets ever because it included 2 tracks which always will be a mystery.

Track 9 and track 10 are those famous IDs. PVD also played track 10 in the Rosenmontags Rave set from 1999. Since I really liked those tracks I put samples on my old song ID page for ages, but no one knew the tracknames. In 2002 PVD was guest in Sunshine live Maximal and there I asked about the 2 tracks and this is what Paul said:
Track 9 is a never released track, PVD does not know where it comes from, he only knows that he and Paul Oakenfold were 2 of the very few DJs who received this track. But he has no idea what it is. Track 10 is a never released track from PVD himself.
So track 10 was never released, but it is one of the best PVD tracks ever! So why was it never released? Strange. For the PVD mailinglist I cut that famous track out of his set and hope someone recognizes the track and can give more information about it: maybe it is released since PVD told about it in 2002?

Straydog - Mirror (?)

Volgensmij bestaat The Next Chapter wel. Staat op Forbidden Paradise 5, mixed by Tiesto.

Dank voor je zoekwerk maar het is niet Koala.... dat zou te eenvoudig zijn... aangezien de cdmaxi daarvan hier in mijn kast staat en geen van de tracks daarop is het... weliswaar komt darin een vocal Eternity Is Past voor, maar het is totaal anders.... tenzij er een of andere exotische mix van bestaat, dan zoek ik die speciale mix (dus als je een linkje hebt, is welkom!...)... Iemand heeft het ook ooit eens geIDed als iets van Robotnico maar ook dat is het niet....

En dat klopt, aangezien ook Forbidden Paradise hier in mijn cd verzameling staat... maar helaas klinkt dit nummer totaal anders als het nummer dat Paul van Dyk draaide....

Nope....

Ik had een of andere mp3-versie gisteravond die er behoorlijk op leek. Zal dus wel een exotische mix ervan zijn.

Als je nog meer uitdagingen zoekt kan ik daar wel voor zorgen... ik eb nog een hoop cassettebandjes van Radio 538 Dance Department en Partynight uit de periode 1997-1999 en daar zitten nog een hoop IDs tussen... de meeste tracks zijn niet zo heel bijzonder maar toch zitten er enkele juweeltjes tussen... deze juweeltjes probeer ik de komende tijd eens in full version 192 kbs quality to uploaden naar Rapidshare en dan post ik de link hier wel zodat je je helemaal kunt stukbijten.....

PS: niemand die de 2 Des Mitchell tracks kent?... Of misschien de volledige tracklist van de set van Des Mitchell in Wildenrath van 25 maart 2000? Die ene MOET gewoon Svenson & Gielen zijn, maar ik heb de track voor de rest nog nooit gehoord....

Toch twijfel ik nog.... ik zal voor de zekerheid dadelijk nog eens alle mixen van Koala afluisteren.......
