I personnally wouldn't like to see "Hardcore rules the world" become a fact. Hardcore needs to be kept hidden, lurking out in the dark shadows, ready to tear souls apart from neutral fuck ups. Definitely underground, so I say no to commercialism. MoH no, a second ID&T. Megarave is kind of the same thing as MoH, but they do a lot for dj's and the gabbers, they're keeping it real. Hardcore needs to stay something special, something secret, but still powerfull though. The most powerfull, angry, lonely and fucked up motherfucker of the block!!!
You can maybe compare it to somebody who's riding a Bentley; he wants Bentley to stay exclusive, cause if the fellow in the other street buys one too, he'll feel less superior/exclusif.
When I read the articles in the 2nd edition of Hardcore Magazine, with Dj Dione and Distortion, who went to the US and Moscow, it realy didn't interested me. Cool for them, but I ratter have hardcore just in Holland, Vlaanderen, Deutschland, Italy, Spain, ... (not France, cause French people ... ain't gonna write it ->pf security ...)
I'm from Belgium and though over here the scène is more hardcore than gabber, it becomes more gabber than lets say 2 years ago, when we had these Hardcore Overdrive Lonsdale fashion shows. Also over here you are or gabber or something else. You listen to hardcore or you listen to shit. So we aren't that openminded as in Holland and we don't socialise that easy and/or much as in Holland.
But the real gabbers from Belgium feel more part of Holland than the others. Holland is godverdomme het hardste! We respect Holland very much
