Holland's Soft Drug Policy

I frequent alot of Dutch Party sites/Hardcore sites and i alway seem to read something about hollands soft drug policies, now i know about the weed cafe's, but what kind of policies/laws are there in holland to drugs?

can some elaborate on this?

Well you can buy it here in shops in small amounces, take it home and smoke it, but you can't make your own shit home, that's illegal, but you can buy the stuff legally to make the shit, however making it is illegal

However on party's you smoke as much as you wan't nobody who cares and the security doesn't either.

I agree with this...but it's just my opinion and sure I haven't any prejudices against people using such stuff

Using drugs can be a problem if you don't have any limits, but I think Holland is a step further than the rest of the world, if you see that Holland has the smallest problem of drugaddicts in the world, it's probably because of our policy, here it isn't something illegal and that's probably why we don't use it, it's something you've tried and for the tourists

The UK has wank policies with regards to drugs....there was a program on TV last night called Panorama, stating that there is a high level of cases among teenagers who smoke dope at a young age, who go on to develop Cannabis Psychosis. I wondered what the levels were in Holland, seeing as you can smoke in coffee shops legally?

Yes it's legal, but only 18+ can buy stuff in a coffeeshop, but sometimes you can see kids under 18 trying to let a passenger over 18 buy it for them, smartasses

But it isn't a problem here, parents mostly think it's okey, as they get older there taking less cause it ain't stretching anymore than

after a while it isn't exciting anymore..

Here in spain we can also take drugs in our home, and we can have a licit amount (not quantifiable, it depends if the judge considers that this amount is for your own use) in our home too. Taking literally the law, we can have shit in our car (personal property) provided that this shit have to be not viewable from the street (public place).
holland rules the drugs policies. I'm sure in holland you won't see teens of 10-15 taking drugs...

well, you're wrong about that my friend!
Here in The Netherlands it's legal though for 18 years and older.
But i smoked my first joint when i was 13 years, and there are a lot of other youngsters who also started smokin' very young..
But it's more to 'discover' then for regularly use.

At lease we have the liberty here not to smoke weed if we don't want to and not because the government says so

It's legal to buy marihuana at coffeeshops, but no more than five grams. It's legal to smoke marihuana in coffeshops and at your own house. It's legal to have five marihuana plants at your house.
It's illegal to smoke in all public area's and it's illegal to have more than five grams.
It depends on the city where you are if the police is strict in these rules.
It's illegal for coffeshops to buy weed, they may only sell it, which is very stupid ofcourse, but the police doesn't do anything about it.

There are a lot of youngsters who smoke weed. You can't even imagine. Because you can grow you're own plants it's easy for them to get it. There is always a neighbour, friend or whatever who grows it's own shit

i think that Speedcore Terrorist © have between 10-15 years

and what about mushrooms?i think it's not a soft drug but you can also buy it legally
