Hardtrance, UK Hardhouse, Harddance, Hardtechno Charts

Ik zie erg weinig top 10's verschijnen. Vind t altijd leuk om te kijken wat anderen draaien en/of luisteren. Dus als iemand in deze stijlen een top 10 heeft en die wil delen met zijn of haar mede-harddancefreaks: here's your chance!

Mijn top 10 van dit moment:

1 Masif Djs - Silence (Technikal's Found The Sunrise Remix)
Niet veel mensen die m al hebben, maar als ie gedraaid wordt, gaat het dak er altijd af!

2 White Label - Inter 004
B kant is leuk, maar de A kant kicks some serious ass! Helemaal mijn stijl, harde kick en funky bassline, de melodie is echt magisch: kippenvel dus. Als iemand de echte titels van deze 2 tracks weet dan hoor ik het graag trouwens

3 Technikal pres. Pierre Pienaar - Global Panic
Goed werk van deze 18 jarige(!!) jongens. Sinds een paar weken op vinyl verkrijgbaar en absoluut de uk hardtrancehit van het jaar.

4 Tommy Pulse - Ghosttown
Eindelijk weer eens een goed geproduceerde hardstyleplaat. De synth scheurt, de bassline rolt door je boxen en het geheel is gewoon supervet. Zo hoort t.

5 Technikal & Chrysus - Untitled
Je komt op internet weleens een verdwaald demootje tegen... en dit is er 1 Vette synths, goeie melodie, absoluut een knaller.

6 Cally & Juice - Now's The Fuckin Time
Jaja nog een goeie hardstyleplaat! Het kan niet op Erg vette gescratchte vocals, lekkere kick, vocals uit Kill Bill "geleend". De track duurt niet te lang: helemaal goed. Ik kende de vocals wel ergens van, kan me alleen die plaat ff nie herinneren...

7 Steve Hill & Guyver - Wasted
Oei oei oei wat een bassline zit hierin.. Hij blaast echt door je boxen, deze gaat vanaf nu voorlopig standaard in mn cd-mapje.

8 Scot Project - FM 3
Thnx 2 Hassanova Scot heeft een nieuwe draai gegeven aan FM 2 en dat is m aardig gelukt. Vind m beter dan de 2 mixen die op de originele plaat stonden.

9 Heaven's Cry - Till Tears Do Us Part (Charly Remix)
Mijn derde Fruity-expiriment. Heeft zich al een keer bewezen op de dansvloer en ik hoop dat ie dat nog vaker gaat doen. Hoewel de track niet gemastered is heb ik (gelukkig) alleen nog maar goede reacties gehad. Thnx people

10 Fausto & JP - The Problem (Charly Remix)
Bootlegje van The Problem. Dit was mijn 2e Fruity-project. Ook ongemastered, zal niet uit gaan komen en blijft dus lekker zeldzaam, maar heeft op Mindgames bewezen dat een track niet per se perfect hoeft te zijn afgewerkt (omdat ik daar de middelen niet voor heb).

Ok….i was going to make a simple chart, but….i did not, it just a quick look in to the whys and hows of the chart….why I did chose these records, the memories they give me, the moments that tune hit me and why! What made them stand out to me etc….

this is my hard dance all time chart…. I have other records as well…but for harddnace this is it, I could of gone all the way to 20….. but this enough for now

10 Jon doe bring back the bass……a true hq classic, but also a zoo classic from one of the best djs never to break threw in holland (yet) dj rydel, brings back the memory’s of the zoo after party club where, Bas ( &ram) steve carta, rydel and my self where residents, me and rydel would always do the later sets, but rydel would always play this as he played last most of the time….and what ya got for me from sigum, whilst me and steve drunk tequila out of balloons filled with laughing gas, after taking a few pills! Then danced on the bar! And we where surprised they busted us and closed us down….the best days of life where in the zoo….and if any body reading this remembers either ,me , steve,billy, rydel,lenny , dash, from there you know these where the best days of our life…. 9 Paul Glazby- Kick it!!!!! The first record from glazby on vc records…..a true classic…..last record at all the tidy weekenders…….a gret tune.

8BK revolution……fact, prob the best produced uk hardhouse record ever the production tighter than 2 coats of paint, the last great uk hard house classic….you have not heard this tune till you heard it played at riot in london! De nuh nuh nuhnuha! Revolution!

7 organ donors, 4 tribes……sun came out as jp dropped this at dv in 2002. And that was the first time I heard the tune……i will never forget it still think it the organ donors best record, there break threw…..this record made me want to find out who made this tune! I tracked them down, and turns out there quite good djs as well and we been friends ever since…

6 Yoda inc…..definitely dj scot project remix…. A classic, if there was ever one for me, I aksed Scot project to play this at ilove hard house, on a queens night with Dana, the best ilovehardhouse party ever. Irecorde the whole 3 hour set, but I threw it away! Reminds me of the item /020 so much…. The good times and the bad! I got a million storys about this record! Dj fighting for it in the shop, and fight the same night to play it!

5 Macro V cafe del marco! The best remix of café del mar……I think….

4 Dark by Design: black out! In april of 2003, some little English punk (that what we thought at the time)come into groove connection, said he could dj a little and played quite a bit in the uk, that punk was alex kidd! Well jp had never heard of him,well I had heard of him and I knew he had been playing a remix of the dawn by tony de vit….i asked him for a copy, he said his mate made it, Gaz west… and 2 weeks later he gave a disc with 5 tracks on it track 1 the dawn remix, track 3: black out…..now I put them on the shop to let jp hear..he did not like the sound of the tunes at all….i on the other hand listen about 10 times over to track number 3…….i said to jp you got to listen to this again, it might sound fast but this is it! This is the shit!!!! Trust me….people will shit bricks if you play this….fast forward to jp closing set at dv 2003….i think he played it every set since….as well sping the dawn from time to time.

3 delirium silence…..see number 1! (not hard house but it in there)

2 Dominator ..human resource…..beltram remix….. they took the mentaism sound that step further….one of the most sample records for the hoover sound, that lead to hardhouse….

one my favorite producers ever….the record brings back so many special memory’s for me.
And I have seen this record destroy dance valley….in 2 countries!
First here at dv with cj bolland live… but the other time in Israel when Paul Oakenfold played one the best djs sets ever, this was the scene ,close your eyes and picture this: in the mountains in elait (ISSAREL) for dance valley with 50 people from dance valley crew, ( same place tiesto made the flight 643 video). Line up dj choopie (!) JP played before Oakenfold…. Paul Oakenfold comes on, takes it easy for 30-40 mins building it up…..then drops skydive, freefall the place erupts…then start droping trance bombs like they out of fashion, tyrantic, flesh, skip raiders…every time going up a level, till the crowd was at breaking point, he had 20 mins left in his set and tom harding was on after him, tom was already getting ready with his records….and then all hell broke loose! Oakenfold drops tiestos remix of delirium silence, as a guy dressed as angel flyed down off the mountain top on a wire with wings(he got stuck half way but that an other story) ! Then from the top of the mountains, the Israelis put on the firework water fall, from the top the mountains, as the sun was beginning to come up, if it was crazy 5 mins ago by now it was off Richter scale, people screaming so loud you would go death! It at this point oakenflod calls mc marxman over, and tells him to tell tom he wants to do another 30 mins…..of coruse toms say yes, because has already smoked about 20 fags because he so nervous to go on after oakey! (Paul; oakenfold number 1 dj in the world at the time) By now the break from silence is droping, the vocals blare out… every body sings the vocals back, the from out of know where he drops ferrys version barbers adigao for strings, kaos! Then zombie nation (sounds crap now, but at that moment it was mental), by now the sun it just over the tips of the mountains, as the breaks drops, people in the front where crying it was so good…..the beats kicks in, 6000 people scream! Marx man announce that oakey has one last record…… then he drops the prophet! From the very beginning of the track with this vocal,:

I am here to tear every thing down around you, and you know what I going to replace with it?
something new ……. God ….the world of god… so take your bread give it to the poor, what difference does it matter what you own, you have gold and silver it going to rot, and that rot will eat away your heart…all of you!

Well that was it the beat droped in and build up begins to the first break begins……carnage, people danced like never before… as the break comes in with the build up….and this little speech from my good ole mate mosses!

well I never been to nirvana concert, but it must of be like this, because it just went ape shit…..and I mean ape shit, people bouncing like balls! The sun was red! As it fianly rose from behide the mountains, tom harding looked even more nervous now….. then the record drops to the beat again before the final break….with the real big speech…..… (now remember we in Israel, with 6000 Israel’s )

come with me! Then the beat drops….OMG! best moment ever, never seen or heard people scream so loud!
I try not to play the record because I will always think of that moment…..it was intense!

Ennuh Edison Factor is idd echt lekker bezig met de laatste 2 vinyl releases. Heerlijk ronde bassen en goede doordachte breaks. Gelukkig niet dat standaard 14 in een dozijn gedoe waar Bangingtunes mee vol staat.

Beatz & Breaks is de eerste release voor XS-IF Records, de remix wordt nog aan gewerkt maar de A kant is al klaar. Hele vette techtrancer, ik draaide hem als 2e op de Streetrave.

02 Barely Legal - Goosebumps (Lee Pasch Remix)
Nieuwe UKHH track, en inderdaad kippenvel!!

03 DJ Fausto - Hardcell (Shaun M Remix)
Vette remix, bouncy uk hh style

04 Stimulant DJs - Mind Control (Guyver Remix)
Totally Guyver, goeie track, lekkere riff

05 Junior Rodgers - Musical Porn (Fausto Remix)
Fausto's remix is erg funky, na de break hoor je een dikke techtrancemelodie die zeker door mensen als Marcel Woods opgepikt gaat worden denk ik.

06 Steve Hill & Guyver - Wasted
Jajajajaja wat een knaller! Luister maar goed want je hoort m zeker weten de 17e in de Trappist

07 MDA & Spherical vs Technikal & Chrysus - Tekamine
Ben de laatste tijd behoorlijk blij met al die lekkere uk hardtrancertjes, dit is er ook weer 1 voor in het rijtje.

08 Hyperlogic - You Got The Love (Lee Haslam Remix)
Goeie track, alleen nog steeds jammer dat Haslam waarschijnlijk zijn beste plaat al gemaakt heeft, ik denk dat ie nooit meer over Music Is The Drug heen komt.

09 Technikal pres. Carl Nicholson - System Shock
B kant van Global Panic en ook erg de moeite waard. Lange inmixtijd, erg sterke melodie.

10 United Nations - Adagio For Strings
Eindelijk gaat ie dan uitkomen: naar mijn mening de beste remix van Adagio die er ooit gemaakt is. Hij doet een beetje aan Cosmic Gate en Dumonde denken in de tijd dat zij de hardtrancepioniers waren.

11 Marco V - More Than A Life Away
De vocal doet t, de melodie is ook erg ok.

12 Fausto & JP - The Problem (Charly Remix)
Nog steeds in de chart

13 K90 - Superspace (Original Mix)
Spacy hardtrance, had nie verwacht dat K90 zoiets kon maken.

Remix van de hit Damager 02. Leuk gedaan, kruising tussen techtrance en hardtrance.

Eindelijk de plaat gevonden

Ziet er weer erg lekker uit Charel, ben met name weg van je nummer 14 (hey top 10??? ) Dit is echt funk

Die musical Porn is ook errug goed en lekker

Mijn volgende top-10 (laatste is alweer van 3 weken trug meen ik)

1. Laserbeam - Summer Delight
Mijn eerste eigen productie die een top-10 klassering verdient. Stijl is vergelijkbaar met JK Walker en Marcos, de opbouw is tot in de puntjes uitgewerkt en diverse professionele producers/dj's hebben hem al gehoord en als goed omschreven. Verwacht geen heel eigen stijl, het is gewoon typische UK trance, niet eens echt hard en zeker geen duitse stijl. Maar een remix á la Cosmic Gate zit dr snel aan te komen

2. Hennes&Cold - First Session
Behoeft niet veel commentaar want het is niet bepaald origineel meer om deze track in je top-10 te zetten, iedere bekende hard trance dj draaide hem namelijk

3. Walt - Wanna Fuck (Original mix)
zeer vette plaat van Walt, waar Marcel Woods ook aan mee heeft gewerkt. Ruim 2 jaar oud, maar niet veel te horen op feesten en het is gewoon een super vette hard trance plaat waar het Publikum ziemlich rauf los geht

4. DJ Scot Project - U 2004 (V-Mix reworked)
acid track van de one and only DJ Scot Project, het zogeheten wow-wow geluidje wat kenmerkend is voor duistere Duitse stijl hard trance, is hier over the top uitgewerkt maar de track heeft gewoon een té lekkere drive om in de schappen van de platenzaak te laten liggen. 9/10 krijgt ie van mij

5. Cosmic Gate - Just a Tone
Jahjah ik heb eindelijk het album 'No More Sleep' op 2x12' binnen. Deze track beukt lkkr en past prima in het begin van een hardstyle set of vlak voor het hoogtepunt van een hard trance set. Stevige beats zoals we van CG gewend zijn, en een vet uitgewerkte melodie die simpel is (maar een paar tonen die elkaar steeds afwisselen) maar daardoor juist erg pakkend

6. Three Kings - Tokyo (Russenmafia remix)
Zeer vette hard trancer met als begin van de break een sample uit het bekende nr Nothing Else Matters, van Metallica. Als je in een zaal het dak eraf wil hebben moet je deze tranceplaat opleggen

7. K-Traxx - Noise Tool (Technoboy remix)
ouwe hardstyle uit de tijd dat het allemaal nog leuk was... onlangs gerepressed en dus maar meteen gekocht. Brings back old memories, en past qua sound tussen Cosmic Gate en al het Overdose-spul van een jaar of 2,3 trug, dus datgene wat ik voornamelijk draai

8. Skysurfer - Silence (Russenmafia remix)
de bekende stijl van Russenmafia. Scherpe, punchy kicks en un gortdroge bassline maar met een héle vette melodie en een spacy break.

9. Ultraform - Heart Impulses
Track die hij voor een andere dj heeft geproduced, sommigen kennen dit nr waarschijnlijk al. Het is een pakkende hard trancer met een melodie die aan ouwe hardstyle doet denken, alleen met een hele energetische en gelaagde kick-bass structuur. Hierna, 32 maten na de climax begint, komt een acid stukkie wat me kippenvel bezorgt, zo vet is het. Maar helaas geen nr wat het grote publiek erg gaat waarderen en al zeker geen hoog 'meebrullen-tijdens-de-break-gehalte' zoals bijv. The Truth of O (Overdrive) wel heeft

10. Walt&Feliz - Expansion (original mix)
2e productie van Wouter Janssen in mijn top-10, waarom dat weet iedereen wel, en daar ik deze plaat pas gisteren heb gekocht ben ik van plan om hem de komende weken helemaal grijs te draaien.

Mijn credo: waarom de hele tijd op zoek gaan naar nieuw spul als je zelf kan leren te producen en bovendien zat oude klassiekers kan kopen? En bovendien een paar vrienden hebt die nog geen platendeal hebben maar wel meesterlijk kunnen produceren

dan heb je de Paul Oakenfold remix te pakken... en die is gewoon 3x nix, die heeft ut gewoonweg niet.

Nieuwe top-10 voor deze week:

1. Hibeatz - Clap your Hands
bekendste productie van de nieuwe Duitse trancemeister, Titus Aust. Groovy percussie, pompende beat, pakkende melodie. Hats off gentlemen

2. Mantra - ??? (Ultraform remix)
remix van un nieuwe track van de Engelsman die beter bekend staat als Log One (van Ben Eye&Log One). Zéér goed afgewerkt nr met een heerlijke melodie, een strakke bassline, zelfs met psytrance-invloeden en uiteraard het nodige acid

3. Clokx - Feelings (Original mix)
hele mooie track van Ron van den Beuken. Typische RVDB stijl, maar met een té vette melodie. Nix op aan te merken, had misschien wat origineler gekund qua sound, maar omdat het hele nummer dik in orde is mag dat geen punt heten

4. Laserbeam - Summer Delight (NRG mix)
eigen productie die ik vanzelfsprekend nog geruime tijd zal blijven draaien. Is inmiddels alweer toe aan versie 1.5

5. Cosmicman - I Love You (Shane 54 remix)
geen hard trance, wel vol spacen. Vette remix van de legendarische track van voormalig forum-bezoeker en hobbyproducer Matti Laamanen, al weer een hele tijd oud maar deze remix van de gekke Hongaar blijft ut goed doen op de dansvloer...

6. Ultraform - Heart Impulses
stijger t.o.v. vorige week. Hoe langer je het nr luistert hoe meer diepte je dr in gaat ontdekken. Ik heb inmiddels de Fruityloops file in mn bezit en daar zeg ik dus echt van: ahhhhh dát geluidje staat daar en dát geluidje had ik nog nooit gehoord. Meesterlijk!

7. Tankis&Savietto - Antea (Original mix)
acid trance van het bekende Italiaanse producers-duo, o.a. verantwoordelijk voor het nr Loop Hole, wat in Nederland als een bom in sloeg dankzij Q-dance. Over de track zelf: goed in elkaar gezet, precies de goeie lengte, aciiiiid
Ook al uit 2002 maar pas sinds kort bekend en veel gedraaid dankzij Bobby V's mixalbum Hard&Loud

om uit te komen bij no. 8: Chemical Headz - Stupid Little Bass
Best geinige vocal in deze Bobby V productie. Van het label (Zoom Records, o.a. van Hardside en Pincky) zou je stevige hardstyle verwachten maar dit nr is meer hard trance en het heeft een commercieel sausje dankzij de vocal, voor de rest gewoon een goeie productie.

9. Encee - Sensibar
Eerste soloproductie van Nic Chagal (eNCee)
ik heb iets met dit nr. Soms luister ik hem en heb ik zoiets van: zal wel, soms kan ik hem uren lang luisteren. Qua stijl vergelijkbaar met de laatste Cosmic Gate platen.

10. Cosmic Gate - Hardcore (Kaylab vs Chromedioxide II remix)
De vetste remix ooit gemaakt ván een nr van Cosmic Gate. Beetje het verhaal van Scot Project. Ze maakten zelf altijd té vette remixes maar niemand kon iets toevoegen aan hun originele nummers. Als iemand dus al voor zoiets in aanmerking kwam was het Oliver Klitzing wel, en die heeft van een van CG's vetste nrs een hele rauwe tech trance remix gemaakt. Is ook al van een tijdje trug maar deze track verdient een plaats in mn week-top10 gewoon omdat ie zo vet is (en ik hem daarom ook veel draai )

Ik zie bijna alleen maar Hardtrance in die top 10's staan hiero (niks mis mee hoor, maar mis toch wel een beetje de Hardhouse/ Nu-NRG) dus hier is mijn UK Hardhouse & NU-NRG top 10...
Heb de laatste tijd niet veel nieuwe Hardhouse gekocht... vind dat er namelijk weinig leuke platen uitkomen (of ik kom ze toevallig niet tegen). Koop daarom wel veel Hardhouse Classics.

Heb zelf die plaat nog niet, maar een top 10 gaat volgens mij niet om of je die track al wel in je bezit hebt maar meer om welke je op dat moment leuk vind... maar anyway die plaat komt toch binnen een maand uit dus heb ik hem maar alvast in die top 10 gezet.

Mix je zelf ook Hardhouse Sean?
