This set contains various melodic tracks I've made during 2002 - 2005 from trance to rave. Some of these have been forgotten and meant to be never released. In tracklist I don't make a difference have I written the track as Paoçala or Alek Száhala. Please attach all this information with this set if you're about to post it on forums outside Finland.

Although having produced music for more than 10 years Alek Száhala is a relatively new name in the international scene. Still he has truely been one of the key players in the recent development of the new wave of Finnish Hard Dance.

Since his explosive forthcoming in 2003 with tracks like 'Superstition' and 'Tlaloc' he has made a deep impact to both Finnish and international crowds and djs with dozens of amazing tracks.

Short bio:

In the early 2004 Finnish scene witnessed the forthcoming of a fresh hard dance act called Pain on Creation. Out of the blue their track 'Lush' had jumped straight to Dj Proteus's powerplay and was signed to FINRG Recordings to be released on the next FINRG Hard. Eventually it became one of the most certain floorfillers of '04.

During the year this newest addition to the FINRG massive has made many impressive appearances in such domestic events as Säde, FINRG Tour, Rush and Loco winning their audiences hearts with their truely uncompromising style and attitude.

Although 'Lush' is probably their most recognized song the duo has stayed active and signed tracks to a number of labels including Camel Records, Electronic and the new Finnish label Teflon Bullet. Be prepared for a long line of quality releases of Finnish hard dance from these ever developing geezers who are prepared to go all the way - their style!

Carbon Based - Live

Carbon Based is a hard trance act from Finland. The group was seeking for its own sound for a number of years and has therefore produced tracks in a variety of different styles ranging from jungle to house and from gabber to pop, which has kept them open minded for all sorts of music.

Carbon Based has released tracks on Max and Aminos Alien Trax, the Mexicans label Electronic and Electrolysis and Scandinavias first hard trance label FINRG Recordings, which is actually their own label co-owned by djs Karri K and RX. Through FINRG they promote the hi-octane manifesto of Finnish energy in forms of most successful FINRG tour parties all over Finland, artist agency and of course vinyl releases.

'Payback Time' on Alien Trax was their first release on 9/2001. Soon after more international attention was gained when 'Illuminate' received highest score on ever popular http://www.generoproject.com, later released on Electrolysis. Their most anticipated track so far 'Cyclone' was released on 'Straight outta Finland EP' on Electronic in early 2004. It was voted for the 8th best track of 2003 in http://www.bangingtunes.com Public vote, even though it was not yet even released at that time! Other important releases are listed in the enclosed Discography.

Best known for their highly energetic appearances, Carbon Based leaves nobody cold when it comes to Live PAs. They have performed in most of Finlands premiere events like Säde, Koneisto, Rush, Movement and FINRG Tour just to mention a few out of more than 30 appearances. Their international debut took place in December 2003 in Elation Christmas Carnage, London. In July 2004 Carbon Based did an Australian mini-tour with appearances in Hard Kandy, Melbourne and on the main arena of the massive Winter Enchanted, Adelaide. As well as doing the Live PAs, Dj gigs are also done on a regular basis by Ari a.k.a. E-NRG and Toni a.k.a. Tony E.

Re-form was founded in the year 2001 by Cloud-C (Antti) and Laz (Lasse). Both had a great several years experience of music making and electronic music has always been that "something" near to their hearts.

In the very first year Re-form made melodic-trance music with different kind of athmospheres and motions. First release in the spring 2002 was a vanity press edition cd called Well-being, it contains 9 different kind of melodic trance tracks. Plastic Sky - track won the Radiomafia´s weekly demo competition in autumn 2002. After the first release Re-form tried to do some harder and darker tracks and finally just under the christmas 2002 first 2 hard tracks were finally mastered. Now they are producing different kind of hard nrg tracks all the time. Re-form is making deals with the record companies to release hard tracks. Now the tracks are hitting to stores!!!

You can see Re-form´s live acts with full of energy all around the Finland and hopefully in the near future also abroad. Re-form has played live in big events such as Säde-club, Impulse, Loco, Fury and Movement.
