sometimes i see deejays mixing with laptops for example noisekick and the untitled.
But how do you get original (with intro and stuff) tracks from other dj's on your laptop??(if you are not playing own productions)
Do you download vinyls (on mp3 format:P) or something?
and if you would download vinyls would it be illegal?

Hmmz live acts?
mixin' with vdj or traktor on a party is lame :P
if the show is good and fucking hard why its lame then?
Mostly only used for live acts, because DJ's don't have all their tracks on Vinyl
whatever your opinion is about using laptops instead of vinyl, the question is still unanswered...

How is it possible for dj's to use numbers that aren't their one while using a laptop...

Is possible (only most people are to lame so they use shit like kazaa/ limewire), or buy the vinyl and rip it to your hdd :)

Well guess what? Even when mp3's are on the internet the copyright is still active. Why do you think the whole discussion about sharing stuff on internet is so hot?

Expect for stuff like demo's or free offers like SMACK REC.
so for an example you rip an csr vinyl to your pc and play it in a live act on a party.
Would it be illegal then?

Of course, as long as you dont share it...copies for own use are legal.

but why would you do that? it isn't a live act then anymore, but just dj-ing with a laptop.
in a live act people allways do there own (co)produced material, not stuff from other dj's, were they didn't helped out with producing it.

read my post better :flower:
they don't dj (play other man's tracks) with laptops in the hardcore scene, it are allways live act's (doing stuff that the artist made himself), and how (much)it really live performancing is, is up to the artist self :flower:
