Ophidian as Raziel - To Sing of Desecration

To Sing of Desecration is the first solo release by Ophidian as Raziel on his Meta4 imprint. He released several separate tracks and collaborations in the past but on this album he definitely pushes the envelope of the label!

The album contains 8 dark, noisy, analogue tracks with influences from hard techno, industrial, IDM and breakcore. Every track has its own intro to set the mood, and each side of every record is mixed, so that you can see the two tracks and intros, but the sound is continuous.

Two of the tracks featured are remixes by members of the Meta4 crew. Serum has delivered an up-tempo breakbeat filled basher, while Tapage dives into scratchy off-beats.

The titles of the tracks of this release were chosen very carefully. The meaning behind them will be partially explained by Ophidian himself in an article on the cardiac website soon.

If your ears can stand some hammering and you’re into non-mainstream tracks, be sure to check this one out.

Staan nog niet online, de plaat ligt nu bij midtown distributie en zal over ongeveer een week bij online shops te koop zijn als ik het goed begrepen heb.
Verwacht niet een te snelle track van mij want het is een oude terror/speedcore track (uit 2003/2004 ofzo) die eigenlijk op distorted noize records uitgebracht zou worden. Maar dnr is toen nooit van de grond afgekomen door de financien. Hij is wel een x op een I hate trance mix cd gebruikt door frazzbass.
Dat is eigenlijk het verhaaltje achter no respect
