Technoholic

Technoholic (Roy Meijers) was born in 1980 in the Netherlands, and already started listening to housemusic in 1990. When he was 13 years old, he went to his first party and was completely sold to the music. Back in the days it was all still very underground and exciting. He was partying till late 2001, and then he had a pause for a few years.

In 2007 he went to a houseparty again, and was totally sold again to the music. But the difference is that at this time the music was a lot harder. In 2008 he got his own turntables, and started mixing himself. 1 month later (he learned very quickly!) he was performing on his first gig. He also became a MC and was organizing lots of parties of his own on different places in Holland. The music he was spinning and the parties he organized was oldschool, earlyrave, earlyhardcore, hardcore and harder styles. He traveled all over Holland, did lots of gigs in Belgium, Germany and France by the name ''Pariah''. He quit playing under that name because he wanted to play technomusic, and that's how Technoholic was born.

In 2010 he went with some friends to a underground club ''The Industry'', and heard about techno, minimal, techhouse, dubstep and DnB. He was instantly sold to techno, minimal and techhouse and bought himself a DJ midi-controller and learned to spin with that. Now it was time to perform in the club and he was from that moment one of the resident DJ's in ''The Industry''. He also performed in Germany and wants to do a lot more.

In 2012 he finished his first track ''La Luna'', wich he made especially for his daughter Luna, who is very inspirational to him. He also finished a few more tracks, but he doesn't like to produce music as much as he plays it in clubs. Spinning music is his greatest passion in his music career. Hopefully 2013 will be a great year to play lots of music and to make a lot of people very happy with the mixes and performances!
