Boogie

Hassan was 17 when he accompanied DJ Hulk and MC aka as friend to several parties in different places. He saw different clubs like Club 6 (Venlo), Carte Blanche (Weert), The Energy (Budel), De Brouwer (Weert). He listened to MC aka a lot. At the age of 18 he was convinced, he wanted to be a MC.

He started by not telling anyone of his plan yet. He began to listen a lot of music to learn some lyrics and practice at home. He was very patient and waited for his chance. And that chance came on DJ Hulks party called: LIPS AND ASSES! MC aka was ill so he couldn't come. There it all started. He got a lot of compliments from people who were there. DJ Hulk was surprised by this success and advised him to search for more MC's to hold up as examples.That was a thing that Hassan immediately searched for. He found an old live set of DJ Chuckie and MC Gee. It was the set from Dirty Dutch 2005. From that day on MC GEE was THE example for Hassan.

When it was clear for everybody that Hassan wanted to be a MC he got a lot of help from DJ Hulk, friends, the managers of
(De Brouwer) and MC Flawless. The manager of De Brouwer organized a party called 7th Heaven Outdoor. With DJ's: Apster,
Bassjackers and DJ Hulk. He gave Hassan a try out. From that day on it was official; Hassan was a MC. There was just one little thing. He had to come up with a MC nickname.He asked his friends to help him to find a nickname and a close friend came with the name : MC Boogie.Hassan is dancing, partying, having fun and BOOGIE. So it was the perfect name. That was the Beginning of Hassan's MC career.

For his holiday MC Boogie went to Chersonissos in Greece and just grabbed the mic at The matrix ( the biggest club at Crete).
That was the day that Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano would come. So he announced them that night. The MC of that
evening was MC Andy Sherman. So Boogie listened to this MC to learn something.
