Cleyton Barros

The king of percussion straight out of Brazil!

Cleyton Barros is a Brazilian percussionist player born in Recife, Brazil. He studied Drums and Percussion (popular and classical) in the Conservatory of Music for 5 years.

As a born rhythms lover he is always looking for new ideas, they mostly come from the people surrounding him whom he gets inspired by. Cleyton has a true passion for all genres of music.

Before fully focusing on percussion he was part of several bands in Brazil and played at big festivals such as: Rock April pro, MADA, Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, International Festival of Music in Salvador, Bahia, International Jazz Festival and Galo da Madrugada.

Cleyton moved to The Netherlands in 2007 and was soon discovered by SXY Events with whom he signed a publishing and management deal. Since then he's played with artists such as Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Chuckie, Quintino, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Sidney Samson, Don Diablo, Gregor Salto, Franky Rizardo and many more! Playing at huge festivals worldwide he's stunned crowds from Holland to Mauritius, Belgium to Brazil and everywhere in between.

In the Netherlands he's done shows at Sexy by Nature, Latin Village, Dance Valley, RIO, Nope is Dope, Black Tie and many more. He's been a part of the Dutch EDM scene for quite some time and now that he's a regular performer at clubs like Escape, Bloomingdale, Maassilo, Ahoy and HMH he can rightfully call himself the king of Percussion!
