Biografie
·In the early stages of his DJ career Dermot C held residencies across some of the biggest clubs and festivals in Ireland including Homelands and Creamfields. In 1997 Dermot packed his record bag and headed to Ibiza where it wasn't long before he gained his residency at Godskitchen, playing alongside Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk and Tall Paul as well as doing a 'Ritz After Dark' tour with Agnelli Nelson.
Since then Dermot has become known for his versatility in house music playing a range of styles from house, funky house, tech and minimal house as well as some electro beats. Having spent 13 seasons in Ibiza it's this versatility and technical perfection that have established him as one of the islands favourite residents earning him residencies at club nights such as Pukka Up and Godskitchen, as well as guest appearances at Judgement Sundays, We Love Sundays at Space, Glasshouse, The Face and Balearic People. 2006 saw Dermot nominated for best upcoming DJ by M8 Magazine.
Dermot has been instrumental in hosting the funky rooms for Dave Pearce Dance Anthems, Garlands, Retro, and Helter Skelter, and promotional DJ and resident for funky up town San Antonio bar Plastik as well as playing at Ibiza super clubs Amnesia, Space, Privilege, Eden, Boho and Es Paradis.
Dermot has played at some of the best clubs and events across the UK and Worldwide including London, Dublin, Dubai, Bahrain, Singapore, Switzerland, Spain, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Germany, China and Andorra to name a few.
Over the past 7 years he has been a resident DJ for Pukka Up which has taken Dermot worldwide. 2006 also saw Dermot and Jon Constantine put their brand 'Ibiza Residents' on the map with their weekly parties in Eden and Es Paradis as well as tours across the UK and Worldwide.
Since then, Dermot has been resident at The Egg in London, along with playing every major club and Festival in the UK for the Pukka Up and Ibiza Resident's tours
