Monsieur Mathieu

Monsieur Mathieu started in the legendary urban bar "The Warehouse" where he was resident-DJ for many years and hosted the famous Disco-, 80's- and Discotheque parties. For years, it was R-town's place to be where youngsters, fashionista's, party people and especially, music lovers, came together and partied till morning.

These experiences led to new and other challenges. During 5 years he hosted a radio show on Urgent.fm (Gent) together with other radio talents such as Nadiem Shah (Mish Mash, De Max) & Ben Van Alboom (Switch) with radio shows as Limited Edition, Popmusic,... He played at many parties, some of them were underground electro & techno raves, and spun records in clubs, such as Culture Club, Decadance, Charlatan, Grand Bazaar Club, Tijuana, Catacombes, Club Zazou, Club Bardot, St. Georges, L.O.O.D.S., Cirque etc., or on parties as Maybee Festival, 10 Years Quinze & Milan, Orange & Blue, Scoutsival, 5 senses, Point Final, Fiesta Tropical, Noordhof Batjesfeesten, 10 Years Cirque, Love Junk, Superkotfuif Urgent.fm and many many more!

MONSIEUR MATHIEU already shared the decks with Goose, Shameboy, Buscemi, Jan Van Biesen, The Glimmers, Villa (Fredo & Thang), Frères Deluxe, Nadiem Shah, TLP aka Troubleman, Starksi & Tonic (The Subs), Turntable Dubbers, The Milkshakerz, Gerrit K etc.

In the mean time and inspired by several artists, MONSIEUR MATHIEU has also developed producers skills, making mash-ups and remixes for his own dj-set's which takes the crowd every time to a higher level!!
